سيلفاكير يزور إسرائيل لأول مرة

أجرى رئيس جنوب السودان سيلفاكير ميارديت اليوم الثلاثاء مباحثات مع الرئيس الإسرائيلي شمعون بيريز في مقر إقامة الأخير بالقدس الغربية، وذلك ضمن زيارة مفاجئة وصفت بالتاريخية يقوم بها سيلفاكير لأول مرة إلى إسرائيل.
سيلفاكير قال إنه "شعر بسعادة غامرة" عندما وطأت قدماه ما سماها أرض الميعاد، في إشارة لإسرائيل التي وصلها الليلة الماضية رفقة وفد يضم وزير خارجيته ووزير دفاعه ووزير الأمن القومي لجنوب السودان، بالإضافة إلى رئيس غرفة الصناعة والتجارة.
في حين أكد شمعون بيريز عقب اللقاء الذي جمعه بسيلفاكير أن إسرائيل مستعدة لتقديم الدعم لدولة جنوب السودان على كافة الأصعدة، واصفا زيارة سيلفاكير بأنها تاريخية بكل المقاييس.
ومن المقرر أن يجتمع الضيف بعدد من المسؤولين الإسرائيليين على رأسهم رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير الخارجية أفيغدور ليبرمان ووزير الدفاع إيهود باراك الذي التقاه في واشنطن في نهاية الأسبوع الماضي.
وكشفت مصادر دبلوماسية إسرائيلية لوكالة الأنباء الفرنسية أن محادثات رئيس جنوب السودان مع المسؤولين الإسرائيليين ستتناول مشاريع التعاون الزراعية والصحية.
وأشارت نفس المصادر إلى أن المسؤولين في جنوب السودان طلبوا من سيلفاكير أن يبقي زيارته الأولى إلى إسرائيل "بعيدة عن الأضواء".
إسرائيل تسعى إلى تعزيز علاقاتها مع دول وليدة مثل جنوب السودان لتوظيفها في المحافل الدولية، وزيارة سيلفاكير تشكل بادرة لبداية علاقات سياسية واقتصادية بين الطرفين.
في حين ذكرت وكالة أسوشيتد برس أن الزيارة تدخل في إطار التحالفات التي تبنيها إسرائيل مع دول شرق أفريقيا لمواجهة تهديدات ما تسميه التطرف الإسلامي.

ويتوقع أن يبحث سيلفاكير أيضا في إسرائيل خطة نتنياهو لمواجهة موجات المتسللين الأفارقة إلى إسرائيل عبر الحدود مع مصر، على ضوء المعطيات الإسرائيلية بأن 30% من المتسللين جاؤوا من جنوب السودان.
وتنص خطة نتنياهو بهذا الخصوص على تأهيل المتسللين السودانيين الجنوبيين مهنيّا قبل طردهم من إسرائيل وإعادتهم إلى موطنهم.
كما يتضمن برنامج زيارة رئيس جنوب السودان لإسرائيل زيارة متحف تخليد ذكرى المحرقة اليهودية في القدس المحتلة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة بعد أن اعترفت الحكومة الإسرائيلية رسميا بدولة جنوب السودان في العاشر من جويلية الماضي. وأعلن وزير الخارجية أفيغدور ليبرمان يوم 28 جويلية الماضي عن إقامة علاقات دبلوماسية بين إسرائيل وجمهورية جنوب السودان المستقلة منذ التاسع من جويلية الماضي.
