ايـــام: يقصد باليوم هو "الليل والنهار" اي 24 ساعة نسبيا بتدقيق 23ساعة و56دقيقة لكن هناك خطأ شائع
يقال " اطول يوم واقصر يوم" في السنة والمقصود هنا هو النهار اوالليل وليس الليل والنهار معا و لتصحيح المفاهبم اليكم مايلى: يقال
- اطول نهار في السنه هي يوم 21 يونيو . جوان و هي اقصر ليلة
- اقصر نهار في السنه هو يوم 21 ديسمبر اي اطول ليلة
-اليوم الذي يتساوي فيه الليل مع النهار هو يوم 21 مارس
..........يعرف أطول يوم في السنة بالانقلاب الصيفي و أقصر يوم بالانقلاب الشتوي و ذلك في النصف الشمالي من الكرة الأرضية و بالضبط على مدار السرطان. ويكون أطول يوم في النصف الجنوبي عند الانقلاب الشتوي و أقصر يوم عند الانقلاب الصيفي و بالضبط عند مدار الجدي.
الانقلاب الصيفي يكون بين 20 و 23 يونيو (حزيران) و الانقلاب الشتوي بين 20 و 23 دسمبر(كانون الاول)
