مقتل زعيم حركة العدل والمساواة في دارفور

أعلن الجيش السوداني، فجر اليوم الأحد، أنه قتل زعيم حركة العدل والمساواة المتمردة في دارفور، خليل إبراهيم، وذلك في منطقة ودبنده في ولاية شمال كردفان.
وقالت الإذاعة السودانية إن "القوات المسلحة أعلنت أنها قتلت المتمرد خليل إبراهيم اليوم (الأحد) في معركة غرب ودبنده بشمال كردفان".

وذكرت وكالة السودان للأنباء الخبر في رسالة نصية بعثت بها إلى الهواتف المحمولة دون ذكر تفصيلات. ولم يؤكد أي مصدر مستقل هذه المعلومات.

وتعد حركة العدل والمساواة من أقوى جماعات التمرد في إقليم دارفور بغرب السودان.

وكانت وكالة الانباء السودانية أعلنت السبت نقلا عن المتحدث باسم الجيش العقيد الصوارمي خالد سعد ان الجيش يقوم بتمشيط منطقة شمال كردفان شمال دارفور، بعدما هاجمت حركة العدل والمساواة "مدنيين" واستهدفت قادة محليين.

وجاءت تصريحات الناطق باسم الجيش غداة إعلانه الجمعة أن "مجموعة متمردة تابعة للمتمرد خليل إبراهيم قامت (الخميس) باعتداء جائر وآثم على المواطنين في مناطق أم قوزين وقوزابيض وارمل التابعة لولاية شمال كردفان، بالقرب من الحدود مع ولاية شمال دارفور".

وقال المتحدث باسم حركة العدل والمساواة، الخميس الماضي، إن قوات الحركة تتوجه شرقا من دارفور، ووصلت الى منطقة النهود في شمال كردفان، موضحا أن مقاتليه يستهدفون الخرطوم كما فعلوا في ماي2008.

واندلع النزاع في دارفور بين الحكومة السودانية ومجموعات متمردة في الاقليم عام 2003.

وقد أسفر عن سقوط 300 ألف قتيل في معارك بين متمردين غير عرب والقوات الموالية للخرطوم التي يهيمن عليها العرب منذ 2003. وتزعم الخرطوم أن القتال أسفر عن سقوط عشرة آلاف قتيل.

بدأ خليل إبراهيم زعيم حركة العدل والمساواة نشاطه السياسي مع حكومة عمر البشير أوائل التسعينات، وبعد فترة عمله في مهنة الطب تم تعيينه وزيراً للصحة في حكومة ولاية دارفور، ثم وزيراً للتعليم، ونقل إلى ولاية النيل الأزرق مستشاراً في حكومة ولايتها، ونقل كذلك للعمل مع حكومة تنسيق الولايات الجنوبية.

وانضم إبراهيم إلى الحركة الإسلامية منذ كان في مرحلة الثانوية، ثم أصبح أحد قياداتها في دارفور.

وانفصل إبراهيم عن النظام الحاكم العام 1999، وانشأ حركة العدل والمساواة ذات التوجه الاسلامي عام 2001، والتي بدأت نشاطها العسكري عام 2003 إلى جانب حركة تحرير السودان.

وتتهم حركة العدل والمساواة، حكومة الخرطوم بالانحياز إلى القبائل العربية في دارفور، وإهمال تنمية الإقليم، فضلا عن اتهامها برعاية وتسليح ميليشيات " الجنجويد" العربية المتهمة بأعمال نهب مسلح في دارفور

وكان القيادي المعارض يؤكد دائما أن لـ"شعب دارفور مطالب متواضعة وموضوعية لا هامش للتنازل عنها"، وهي: حكم ذاتي إقليمي، ونائب لرئيس الجمهورية من أهل دارفور، ومشاركة في السلطة بحجم سكان الإقليم على مستوى السودان.
