الاسم العلمي : Amandava Amandava

الموطن : الهند , باكستان , جنوب النيبال , جنوب شرق آسيا و أندونيسيا

الحجم : 9 -10 سنتيمتر

الغذاء : زيبرا الفراولة فينش شأنها شأن باقي الأنواع الأخرى من طيور الفيش , تتغذى على خليط البذور و الحبوب , كذلك الفواكه المقطعة

التربية والتفريخ :

خلال موسم التناسل بجدر الاستمتاع بمراقبة الزوجين . في عرض توددهما , حيث ينفجر الذكر في تغريد كامل

فاردا ريش ذيله وهو يرقص حول الأنثى

تضع الأنثى من 5-7 بيضات , و تكون مدة الحضانة من 12 – 14 يوماً

تغادر الصغار العش بعد مرور 3 أسابيع

ملاحظات :

على طول السنة يأتي تغريد الذكر بنغمة صافية . الأنثى أيضا يمكن ان تغرد , وهي تغرد خاصة عندما لا يكون لها رفيق

ولكن تغريدها اقل غليانا وتميزا من الذكر
الذكر ياتي بلون الأحمر والأنثى رماديه اللون
