ستضمن 50 ألفَ وظيفةٍ في أمريكا..84 مقاتلة أمريكية إلى السعودية بملايير الدولارات

أعلن البيت الابيض أن الولايات المتحدة ستبيع مقاتلات بقيمة 29.4 مليار دولار الي السعودية في صفقة ستدعم أكثر من 50 ألف وظيفة في أمريكا وستعزز الامن الاقليمي في الخليج وسط تصاعد التوتر مع ايران.
وتشمل الصفقة 84 مقاتلة جديدة اف-15 من صنع بوينج مع معدات رادار متطورة وانظمة للحرب الالكترونية وتطوير 70 مقاتلة لدى المملكة بالفعل بالاضافة الي الذخائر وقطع الغيار والتدريب والصيانة والخدمات اللوجستية.
وفي حين ان الكونجرس اعطى موافقة على الصفقة في السابق الا أن الاعلان الذي صدر عن البيت الابيض يأتي في وقت تتصاعد فيه التوترات في منطقة الخليج.
وتشعر كل من الولايات المتحدة والسعودية -التي تعتبر ايران تهديدا مهما محتملا- بقلق بشان برنامج ايران النووي. وجدد مسؤولون ايرانيون هذا الاسبوع تهديدات باغلاق مضيق هرمز ردا على عقوبات اقتصادية امريكية واوروبية متزايدة.
ويأتي الاعلان عن الصفقة ايضا بينما يستعد الرئيس الامريكي باراك اوباما لتسريع حملته من اجل اعادة انتخابه في نوفمبر تشرين الثاني 2012 وهي حملة من المرجح ان يشكل الاقتصاد الامريكي ونمو الوظائف محور المنافسة فيها.
وقال متحدث باسم البيت الابيض ان صفقة الاسلحة للسعودية ستعطي الاقتصاد الامريكي دفعة سنوية قدرها 3.5 مليار دولار وستساعد في تعزيز الصادرات والوظائف.
وقبل أكثر من عام حصلت ادارة اوباما على موافقة الكونجرس على البيع المحتمل لمعدات عسكرية تزيد قيمتها عن 60 مليار دولار الي السعودية على مدى 10 أعوام الي 15 عاما بما في ذلك مقاتلات اف-15 ومعدات وخدمات مرتبطة بها.
وفي بيان صدر في هونولولو حيث يقضي اوباما عطلة قال جوش ارنست نائب السكرتير الصحفي للبيت الابيض ان المملكة لها دور مهم تلعبه في الحفاظ على استقرار المنطقة التي شهدت ايضا احتجاجات واضطرابات سياسية في اليمن.
واضاف قائلا “هذا الاتفاق يعزز العلاقة القوية والمستمرة بين الولايات المتحدة والسعودية ويبين التزام الولايات المتحدة بدعم قدرات دفاعية قوية للسعودية كعنصر اساسي للامن الاقليمي.”

وقال مسؤولون امريكيون ان عملية تطوير مقاتلات إف-15 التي لدى السعودية ستبدأ في 2014 وإن المملكة ستتسلم اولى المقاتلات الجديدة في 2015 .
ووفقا لتقرير للكونجرس صدر في 15 ديسمبر كانون الاول فإن السعودية كانت أكبر مشتر للاسلحة الامريكية في الفترة من اول يناير كانون الثاني 2007 حتى نهاية 2010 باتفاقات موقعة بلغت قيمتها الاجمالية 13.8 مليار دولار تلتها دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة بعقود بقيمة 10.4 مليار دولار.
