راني ياصاحب العقل مهيوم
مثل غريب يهوم بين جناس
تايه عقلي خاطري مرشوم
ماجبرت لضيقي حتى ونَّاس
ناس زماني حلالهم اللوم
صابو نشوة في هموم الناس
لاسر يبقى عندهم مكتوم
ولا تجبر في كثيرهم كيَّاس
يبنوسوق الكذب والمزعوم
راس المال الشر والتهراس
مباسم تضحك والقلوب حموم
كي مثل البارود فالقرطاس
مافرزو غالي من المذموم
مافرقو بين الذهب ونحاس
في لثنين صارو سوى فالسوم
ولاعاد يفرق بينهم قياس
علاه الحق مرار فالحلقوم
والباطل مرفوع فوق الراس
علاه الحرة فالزنق تهوم
علاه الرقبة كي كبر انقاس
في ظني هذا زمان الشوم
الِّي حكاو عليه أهل قياس
ريح الفتنة صاطنا مسموم
لا ضمير بقى ولا إحساس
غاب المعنى ما بقى مفهوم
وتوَّدرفي ذ الظلام وغاص
حتى الفسق ضحى من العلوم
وعرض الخلقة بالرجل انداس
خطفت الدنيا عقول القوم
وتبدَّل في كل يوم لباس
فيها ياقلبي علاه تروم
وكي ترضاها تجَّرحك بمواس
بركاك مافي ذالغرور تعوم
العود الراشي مايجي قنطاس
عْييت نقري فيك يا مغشوم
وغير شقيت ومابنيت الساس
شربت معاك محاين المتهوم
وعشت معاك معيشة التحساس
ويحك قلبي طيع للمقسوم
رضى مكتوبك خير ماترخاس
الدنيا محال كان تدوم
غدارة من شاوها تنكاس
ويمضي أمر الله بالمحتوم
وليس يفيد مع القضا قنباص
وحق الصابر باين ومعلوم
يوم الوعد يفوز بالقصاص
