Fennec هو اسم رمز للجهود من اجل بناء اصدار للجوال من Firefox . Fennec هو جزء من Mozilla المصمم لكي تسمح لكل الهواتف الجوالة باستخدام تطبيق Mozilla.

الاهداف العامة ل Mobile Firefox هي:
_ توفير متصفح Mozilla المستند الى المعايير و محرك مفتوح المصدر و الامثل للجوال.
_ توفير متصفح كامل المميزات مع دعم ل XUL القائم علي الاضافات و تقديم اضافات علي المبادئ الرئيسية للعمل علي سهولة استخدامه بامان و سهولة الوصول اليه.
_ ازدياد مجتمع Mozilla في عالم الجوال.
_ توفير الادوات و الوثائق للمساعدة في تطوير و تصحيح و نشر تطبيقات الويب.
_ افعل كل هذه الاعمال باستخدام المصدر Mozilla لذا فكل الانظمة الاساسية و المكتبية و الجوال تنفع بعضها بعض.
