واشنطن تعترف بتقديم مساعدات مالية لحركة النهضة التونسية

كشف المنسق الخاص لتحولات الشرق الأوسط بوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية ويليام تايلورعن تقديم واشنطن لمساعدات مالية إلى حركة النهضة. وقال أن علاقة واشنطن بحركة النهضة ”ليست حديثة العهد”. مشيرا إلى أن الإدارة الأمريكية تجري محادثات مع الحركة منذ إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي السابق جورج بوش”.
وأعرب تايلور. وهو المعني بملف التحولات الجارية في تونس وليبيا ومصر. في حديث أجرته معه صحيفة ”الصباح” التونسية عن ”إعجاب واشنطن بحركة النهضة”. وقال إن ”الولايات المتحدة معجبة بالنهضة سواء في حملتها الانتخابية أوفي خطواتها الأولى وتشكيلها ائتلافا مع أحزاب مدنية”. وأكد أن لقاءات واشنطن بالحركات الإسلامية ”ليست حديثة العهد واتصالاتنا بقيادات إسلامية من مختلف دول المنطقة مثل تونس ومصر ودول أخرى استمرت منذ إدارة بوش وإلى حد الآن”.
وهذه أول مرة يكشف فيها مسؤول أمريكي عن كواليس علاقة واشنطن بحركة النهضة بصفة خاصة وبالحركات الإسلامية بصفة عامة.
وكان تايلور زار تونس عشية انتخابات 23 أكتوبر وأجرى محادثات مع مسؤولين من ضمنهم قيادات حركة النهضة الإسلامية.
واعترف وليام أن الإدارة الأمريكية قدمت مساعدات مالية لحركة النهضة مشيرا إلى أن المساعدات شملت أيضا أحزاب أخرى.
وبخصوص عملية الانتقال الديمقراطي أوضح المسؤول الأمريكي قائلا ”عندي انطباع قوي بأن التونسيين يريدون مجتمعا منفتحا وشامل وعصريا يحكمه دستور ديمقراطي وانتخابات حقيقية”.
لكنه انتقد أداء الحكومة ضمنيا مشددا على ”أن المواطنين التونسيين في حاجة إلى أن يلمسوا الديمقراطية الحديثة تتجسم على أرض الواقع”.
ودعا حركة النهضة والحكومة إلى الاستماع ”مطالب الشعب” وقال ”أنصحهم بالتخلي عن الأجندات الحزبية وبالعمل على تحقيق الصالح العام للمواطنين التونسيين، أي المصلحة العامة لكافة أطياف الشعب”. ولم يتردد المسؤول الأمريكي في القول أن واشنطن قدمت مساعدات للحكومة التونسية من أجل إنجاح عملية الانتقال الديمقراطي. قائلا ”نود رؤية نجاح العملية الديمقراطية في تونس، لقد قمنا بأشياء كثيرة ونواصل القيام بالمزيد”. ووصف تايلور تونس بـ”نموذج مهم جدا لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط بل وللعالم”. ملاحظا أن ”الجميع يعلم أن الربيع العربي بدأ في تونس، وأن التونسيين هم أول من أجرى انتخابات حرة ونزيهة تم التعبير فيها عن رؤى وأصوات التونسيين بطريقة جيدة”.
وبخصوص الوضع الاقتصادي أوضح تايلور على أن ”الوضع الاقتصادي في تونس حرج” وطالب الحكومة بضرورة ”أن يترابط الوضع السياسي بالوضع الاقتصادي”.
وأكد ويليام تايلور ”استعداد واشنطن لمساعدة حركة النهضة” على إنجاح تجربتها في الحكم ملاحظا أن الولايات المتحدة ”ستستخدم استقرارها الاقتصادي لمساعدة تونس على رفع موازنتها بحيث ستمنح تونس ضمانات قروض لمساعدتها على الاقتراض”.
وقال: ”لقد منحنا تونس ضمانات بـ 30 مليون دولار مما سيخولها اقتراض 500 مليون دولار من السوق العالمية، وهو ما لم يكن بإمكانها القيام به دون هذه الضمانات. إذ يصعب الاقتراض من السوق العالمية دون ضمانات أمريكية”.
يشار إلى أن رئيس حركة النهضة راشد الغنوشي أدى زيارة إلى واشنطن بدعوة من ”معهد واشنطن” للدراسات، وهو واحد من أهم المؤسسات السياسية والبحثية المؤيدة لإسرائيل. ونوه الغنوشي خلال محاضرة ألقاها هناك بالموقف الأمريكي من الثورات العربية مؤكدا انه ”موقف إيجابي” معربا عن ”امتنانه للمعهد الذي وجه له الدعوة”.
وأثارت زيارة الغنوشي تلك إلى واشنطن قبل إعلانها عن تشكيل الحكومة مخاوف في الأوساط السياسية التونسية لا سيما القوى الديمقراطية واليسارية التي رأت فيها ”زيارة لطمأنة واشنطن على مصالحها في تونس”.
