لقد كان الطين من زمن ليس ببعيد ، المادة الأساسية لتسوية أغلب المتطلبات الحياتية لسكان منطقة الزيبان .
فمن الطين تصنع الإثفية و القدر والطاجين و المدفأة و المحلاب ،
و بالطين يسد الثقب و الشق و الثلم. و به تصرف مياه الرَي و تسيّج البساتين و تقام السدود و تبنى الدور .
ليس هذا فحسب ، بل بلغ بهم الأمر إلى حد محاولة استغلاله في تسوية أعطال آلياتهم الميكانيكية ، عندما اقترح أحدهم على ابنه حين أبلغه بوجود شق بحوض محرك الشاحنة ، قائلا له بكل بساطة وعفوية : ( ساويلها طينة ) ،
مع أن سكان الزيبان قد استهجنوا الاقتراح و جعلوا منه مثلاً يضرب لكل عمل ترقيعي لا ترجى منه فائدة .
لكن آلا ترون معي بأن حكوماتنا المتعاقبة قد أخذته على محمل الجد ، إذ جعلت منه الحل السحري لتسوية كل مشاكلنا السياسية و الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية و التربوية ،......
فبالطين تؤسس الأحزاب ، و يجرى الانتخاب ، و يصنع للبرلمانات النواب .
و بالطين تقام المشاريع و تسيّر حركة الشراء والبيع ، و يقسّم الريع ،
و بالطين تطبع المقررات ، و تشيد الجامعات ، و يشغل أبناؤنا و البنات .
هذه سياسة حكوماتنا في الحاضر والذي فات، أتراها تتغير فيما هو آت ؟؟

يا ويلي ويا سواد ليلي . وهل يصلح الطين العقول التي أصابها الشرخ .
سياسة حكومتنا واضحة . ولربما سوف نستبدل العبارة التي كانت سائدة في زمن ما من الشعب والى الشعب لتصبح بالطين و من الطين والى الطين . للأسف هذا هو الحال ترقيع في ترقيع أو ما يعرف بسياسة البريكولاج . ولكثرة استعمالنا لها حتى صارت علامة مسجلة تحسب للحكومات الجزائرية المتعاقبة . أو كما اصطلح عليه شعبيا . خدمة سلك .....في الغرب الجزائري . وعقلية دز برك في شرقه . وبين شرق الوطن وغربه أخاف أن يخلقوا لنا هوة واسعة حينها لا تنفع عبارة ساويلها طينة .

بالفعل سياسة عرجاء تلك التي يعتمدها أصحاب المعالي عندنا . والسؤال الملح الى متى نعتمد على الطين
وماذا لو انعدم ؟بحسب سياستنا فإن ذلك يؤدي الى السقوط الحر .
ومن جهة أخرى أرى أن المتكسبين بالطين كثر (الإنتهازيين ) هذا ما جعل من الظاهرة تتفاقم طولا وعرضا ومحال أن نتخلص منها إلا إذا اثبت الطين عدم فاعليته بعد تعرضه لعوامل النحت والتعرية (وكلنا يعرف ما لهذه العوامل من عواقب وخيمة فقد أتت على عروش واسقطت حكومات ومماليك )
