حدثنا ابن حميد قال حدثنا سلمة قال حدثني ابن إسحاق قال ولد رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم..
يوم الاثنين.. عام الفيل لاثنتي عشرة مضت من شهر ربيع الأول..
وقيل إنه ولد صلى الله عليه و سلم..

في الدار التي تعرف بدار ابن يوسف..
وقيل إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم كان وهبها..
لعقيل بن ابي طالب فلم تزل في يد عقيل حتى توفي..
فباعها ولده من محمد بن يوسف أخي الحجاج بن يوسف..
فبنى داره التي يقال لها دار ابن يوسف ..
وأدخل ذلك البيت في الدار حتى أخرجته الخيزران فجعلته مسجدا يصلى فيه

كنا نرجو المعروف من أبي الصبي فكنا نقول يتيم ما عسى أن تصنع أمه وجده فكنا نكرهه لذلك فما بقيت امرأة قدمت معي إلا أخذت رضيعا غيري فلما أجمعنا الانطلاق قلت لصاحبي إني لأكره أن أرجع من بيت صواحباتي ولم آخذ رضيعا والله لأذهبن إلى ذلك اليتيم فلآخذنه قال لا عليك أن تفعلي فعسى الله أن يجعل لنا فيه بركة قالت فذهبت إليه فأخذته وما حملني على ذلك إلا أني لم أجد غيره قالت فلما أخذته رجعت به إلى رحلي فلما وضعته في حجري أقبل عليه ثدياي بما شاء من لبن فشرب حتى روي وشرب معه أخوه حتى روي ثم ناما وما كان ينام قبل ذلك وقام زوجي إلى شارفنا تلك فنظر إليها فإذا إنها لحافل فحلب منها حتى شرب وشربت حتى انتهينا ريا وشبعا فبتنا بخير ليلة قالت يقول لي صاحبي حين أصبحت أتعلمين والله يا حليمة لقد أخذت نسمة مباركة قلت والله إني لأرجو ذلك قالت ثم خرجنا وركبت أتاني تلك وحملته عليها معي فوالله لقطعت بنا الركب ما يقدم عليها شيء من حمرهم حتى إن صواحبي ليقلن لي يا ابنة أبي ذؤيب اربعي علينا أليس هذه أتانك التي كنت خرجت عليها فأقول لهن بلى والله إنها لهي هي فيقلن والله إن لها لشأنا قالت ثم قدمنا منازلنا من بلاد بني سعد وما أعلم أرضا من أرض الله أجدب منها فكانت غنمي تروح علي حين قدمنا به معنا شباعا لبنا فنحلب ونشرب وما يحلب إنسان قطرة ولا يجدها في ضرع حتى إن كان الحاضر من قومنا يقولون لرعيانهم ويلكم اسرحوا حيث يسرح راعي ابنة أبي ذؤيب فتروح أغنامهم جياعا ما تبض بقطرة لبن وتروح غنمي شباعا لبنا فلم نزل نتعرف من الله زيادة الخير به حتى مضت سنتان وفصلته وكان يشب شبابا لا يشبه الغلمان فلم يبلغ سنتيه حتى كان غلاما جفرا فقدمنا به على أمه ونحن أحرص شيء على مكثه فينا لما كنا نرى من بركته فكلمنا أمه وقلنا لها يا ظئر لو تركت بني عندي حتى يغلظ فإني أخشى عليه وباء مكة قالت فلم نزل بها حتى رددناه معنا قالت فرجعنا به فوالله إنه بعد مقدمنا به بأشهر مع أخيه في بهم لنا خلف بيوتنا إذا أتانا أخوه يشتد فقال لي ولأبيه ذاك أخي القرشي قد جاءه رجلان عليهما ثياب بياض فأضجعاه وشقا بطنه وهما يسوطانه قالت فخرجت أنا وأبوه نشتد فوجدناه قائما منتقعا وجهه قالت فالتزمته والتزمه أبوه وقلنا له مالك يا بني قال جاءني رجلان عليهما ثياب بياض فأضجعاني فشقا بطني فالتمسا فيه شيئا لا أدري ما هو قالت فرجعنا إلى خبائنا قالت وقال لي أبوه والله يا حليمة لقد خشيت أن يكون هذا الغلام قد أصيب فألحقيه بأهله قبل أن يظهر به ذلك قالت فاحتملناه فقدمنا به على أمه فقالت ما أقدمك به يا ظئر وقد كنت حريصة عليه وعلى مكثه عندك قالت قلت قد بلغ الله بابني وقضيت الذي علي وتخوفت الأحداث عليه فأديته إليك كما تحبين قالت ما هذا بشأنك فاصدقيني خبرك قالت فلم تدعني حتى أخبرتها الخبر قالت فتخوفت عليه الشيطان قالت فقلت نعم قالت كلا والله ما للشيطان عليه سبيل وإن لبني لشأنا أفلا أخبرك خبره قالت قلت بلى قالت رأيت حين حملت به أنه خرج مني نور أضاء لي قصور بصرى من أرض الشام ثم حملت به فوالله ما

رأيت من حمل قط كان أخف منه ولا أيسر منه ثم وقع حين ولدته وإنه لواضع يديه بالأرض رافع رأسه إلى السماء دعيه عنك وانطلقي راشدة
