خطر كبير على الجيش السعودي من اسرائيل

بحسب الموقع الرسمي لوزارة الدفاع السعودية باللغة الانجليزية، فإن "اسرائيل تُشكل خطراً كبيراً على الجيش السعودي في الوقت الحاضر، في حين تسعى المملكة العربية السعودية لإستصدار قرار حول الصراع الإسرائيلي الفلسطيني والذي من شأنه أن يحافظ على الإضطرابات في الشرق الأوسط، كما أن ايران تُشكل تهديداً كبيراً على المملكة العربية السعودية".

ونقلت "مجلة اكزامينِر" الأسبوعية في الولايات المتحدة، ما كشفه الموقع الالكتروني لوزارة الدفاع السعودية إلى أن السعودية لديها إتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة لتوريد مقاتلات f-15 وطائرات هليكوبتر ومعدات أخرى للجيش بقيمة 60 مليار دولار لتمكين الجيش السعودي من مواجهة التهديدات بطريقة أفضل، بحسب المجلة.

واضافت المجلة الى انها اتصلت بالسفارة السعودية في واشنطن لمعرفة ما تقصده وزارة الدفاع السعودية بالخطر الاسرائيلي الكبير على الجيش السعودي، إلا أن المسؤولين السعوديين رفضوا التعليق.

واشارت المجلة الى انها توجهت ايضاً الى وزارة الخارجية الامريكية للتعليق حول ما تعنيه وزارة الدفاع السعودية بأن اسرائيل تُشكل الخطر رقم واحد على أمن المملكة العربية السعودية، في وقت تبيع فيه الولايات المتحدة الأسلحة والتقنيات التكنولوجية المتطورة الى السعودية وهي التي تعتبر اسرائيل، الشريك الرئيسي للولايات المتحدة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، تهديداً على أمن المملكة العربية، إلا أن المسؤولين الامريكيين رفضوا أيضاً الاجابة على السؤال.

وتختتم المجلة تقريرها بأان السعودية هددت في وقت سابق باعتراض أي طائرة اسرائيلية متجهة لإيران في حال إنتهاك تل أبيب لحرمة الأجواء السعودية، بحسب المجلة.

يُذكر أن صحيفة لو فيغارو الفرنسية قد ذكرت في عددها الصادر في الخامس من جوان سنة 2010 ، أن العاهل السعودي الملك عبد الله قال لهيرفي موران وزير الدفاع الفرنسي أن "هناك نوعان من البلدان في العالم التي لا تستحق أن تتواجد وهما: اسرائيل وايران"، مما اثارَ التصريح هالة إعلامية حادة أنذاك في الصحف الغربية.
