فتحت نافذة كانت في غرفتي...وشرعت الشباك

وقلت مخاطبا الصبح زرنا...فقد إشتاق الليل لرؤياك

وإرفق يا فجر بحالنا فلم...يعد لنا شيء ينير عتمة الليل إلاك

وتعالى نحكي لك قصة..لا محالة لها ستدمع عيناك

لكن..بأي الكلمات أصف حالنا..والموت تمر علينا كمن مر عليك فحياك

تأخذ من الأم الرضيع ومن الوالد إبنت تصرخ ربنا رحماك

وإنا نرى الموت قد تغلغلت فينا وأخذت منا ما أخذت

وكذلك لم تخلفك يا فجر فسرقت منك عيناك

وجاءك القمر والنجوم تقودك إلى مثواك

نراك يا فجر قد غبت عنا فعاقبك القدر وجزاط

حيث تخل عنك العرب فلا أحد منهم حياك ولا حتى عزاك

عشت وحيدا ومت وحيدا فلا نهار بالنور كساك

ولا ليل بالنجوم غطاك...
لماذا يافجر غبت عنا ولم تعد تمد يدك كحبل نجاة

هل نسى المسلمون ياقدس لماذا قدسناك..؟؟؟

وكأن شعورا فينا بالنخوة قد مات

وإني يا فلسطين لأرى منك رائحة الموت تفوح رغم قنابل الفسفور وتلك الغازات
وأرى أطفالا يتدافعون بالحصى وفيهم ذكور وبنات

يرمون بها جيشا مدججا برشاشات ودبابات

فيتوقف الجيش ولو للحظات

ثم يواصل هدم تلك البنابات

هم لم يكسروا تلك الدبابات أعلم ..لكن الحكمة أنهم أوقفوا الجيش ولو للحظات

وعلمو رؤساء العرب كيف يحلو الموت بين الفلوات
وأخبروانا أنهم الأحياء ونحن هم الأموت
