الزهد في الدنيا الراحة الكبرى، والرغبة فيها البلية العظمى




ان للحسنة ضياءً في الوجه، ونوراً في القلب، وقوةً في البدن، وسعةً في الرزق، ومحبة في قلوب الخلق، وان للسيئه سواداً في الوجه، وُظلمة في القلب، ووهناً في البدن، ونقصاً في الرزق، وُبغضاً في قلوب الخلق

من كثرت أياديه قلت أعاديه، من كرمُ عنصره حسن مخبره، من طال سروره قصرت شهوره



ان من الخيانة أن تحدث بسر أخيك




تجنب السؤال فاءنه يذهب ماء الوجه، وأعظم من هذا استخفاف الناس بك



يارب هب لي غنى لا يطغيني، وصحة لاتلهيني، وأعذني من فقر ينسيني



قال رجل لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: علمني ماينفعني، فقال: عليك بالدعاء فانك لا تدري متى يستجاب لك

الجهل قوة للخرق، والخرق قوة للغضب وكل ذلك على نفسه يجنيه


الدنيا كالماء المالح كلما ازددت منه شرباً ازددت عطشاً




الدنيا لا تصفو لشارب ولا تخلو لصاحب إن اقبلت فهي فتنة وإن أدبرت فهي محنة، فاعرض عنها قبل أن تعرض عنك، واستبدل بها قبل أن تستبدل بك، أحوالها لاتزال تنتقل وأطوارها لا تبرح تتبدل



قال حكيم : إن تعبت في البر فإن التعب يزول والبر يبقى، وإن تلذذت بالإثم فإن اللذة تزول ويبقى الإثم



لا تشهد لمن لاتعرف ولا تشهد على من لاتعرف ولاتشهد بما لا تعرف


عليك بصحبة من اذا صحبته زانك، وإن غبت عنه صانك، إن احتجت اليه أعانك، وإن رأى نقصاً سده، أو حسنة عدها

من أولع بقبح المعاملة أوجع بسوء المقابلة



لاتتهافت على اللئيم فتتهم في مروءتك، ولا على الغني فتتهم في عفتك،ولا على الجاهل فتتهم في فطنتك


اللهم اجعلني أفقر خلقك إليك وأغناهم بك

صحة الجسم في قلة الطعام وصحة القلب في قلة الذنوب والآثام وصحة النفس في قلة الكلام





الرجال أربعة : رجل يدري أنه يدري،فذاك غافل فنبهوه. ورجل يدري ويدري أنه يدري، فذاك عاقل فاعرفوه. ورجل لايدري أنه لايدري فذلك جاهل فعلموه. ورجل لايدري ولايدري أنه لايدري فذاك مائق فاحذروه


إنما مثل المراة كمثل الضلع إن تحرص على إقامته تكسره وإن تستمتع به تستمتع به وفيه عوج


قالوا: إذا انتقمت ممن هو دونك فلا تأمن أن ينتقم منك من هو فوقك


الكريم إذا قدر غفر، وإذا عُني بمساءةٍ ستر. وللئيم إذا ظفرعقر، وإذا أمن غدر

كل شيء يبدأ صغيراً ثم يكبر إلا المصيبة فإنها تبدأ كبيرة ثم تصغر



إن أوقع الأمور في الدين وانهكها للجسم، وأتلفها للمال، واخربها بالعقل وأسرعها في ذهاب اتلوقار الإغرام بالنساء



شيئان إذا عملت بهما أصبت خيري الدنيا ولآخرة، تتحمل ماتكره إذا أحبه الله وتترك ماتحب إذا كرهه الله



ما الدنيا في الآخرة إلا كما يجعل أحدكم أصبعه في اليم ثم لينظر بم يرجع


حُسن الخلق . . بسط الوجه، طيب الكلام، قلة الغضب واحتمال الأذى


الصدق ربيع النفس، وثمرة المروءة، وشعاع الضمير


لا خير في القول إلا مع العمل، ولا في الحياة إلا مع السرو، ولا في الصداقة إلا مع الوفاء، ولا في المال إلا مع الجود



قال أحد الحكماء يوصى ابنه: يابني . . إني ذقت الطيبات كلها فلم أجد أطيب من العافية، وذقت المرارات كلها فلم أجد أمر من الحاجة الى الناس. ونقلت الحديد والصخر . . فلم أجد أثقل من الدين




عيوب الناس نحفرها على النحاس، أما فضائلهم فنكتبها على الماء





قلب الأحمق في لسانه . . ولسان العاقل بقلبه




ليس العلم أن نعرف المجهول . . لكن أن نستفيد من معرفته



فخر المرء بعمله وأدبه، وليس بأصله ونسبه



ليس الانسان الصورة . . إنما العقل



حُسن الأخلاق يذيب الخطايا . . كما تذيب الشمس الجليد





الحياة أمل ، من فقد الأمل . . فقد الحياة



من ظن أنه قد تعلم . . فقد بدأ جهله




الناس بالنسبة لك ثلاثة : أباً وأخاً وإبناً . . فبر أباك، وإحفظ أخاك، وإرحم


الكلام كالدواء . . إن قللت منه نفع، وإن أكثرت منه قتل

أضعف الناس . . من ضعف عن كتمان سره
