عاد ،الاربعاء،تقرير إعلامي ليبي للتنقيب عن الأسباب الحقيقية لإلغاء مباراة ليبيا والجزائر يوم 20 جانفي 1989 في تصفيات مونديال إيطاليا 1990، كاشفا النقاب عن اتفاق وصف بـ"السري" بين الزعيم الليبي المغتال معمر القذافي والرئيس الجزائري الراحل الشاذلي بن جديد ليلة المباراة، ختمه القذافي بقرار "راديكالي" على حد وصف متتبعين، يقضي بإلغاء المباراة خلال الاجتماع الفني صباح اللقاء، رغم حضور لاعبي المنتخب الجزائري، الذين تدربوا على أرضية الملعب، وعشرات الأنصار الذين توجهوا منذ الصباح الباكر إلى مدرجات ملعب طرابلس الدولي لمناصرة المنتخب الليبي.
وكشفت صحيفة المنارة الليبية ،الاربعاء، أن الاتحاد الليبي أنذاك أعد رسالة يعلن فيها انسحابه من التصفيات وأرسلها إلى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، تبعا للشروط التي أملاها مسؤولو الاتحاد الجزائري لكرة القدم، الذين لم يصدقوا في البداية الخبر وكانوا يصرون على دخول الميدان والقيام بالإجراءات المعمول بها لتحديد هوية الفائز بالغياب.

كشف تقرير إعلامي ليبي،الاربعاء، أن الزعيم معمر القذافي كان وراء إلغاء مباراة ليبيا والجزائر سنة 1989، مشيرة إلى أنه توصل برسالة شفهية من الرئيس الجزائري أنذاك الراحل الشاذلي بن جديد، على لسان السفير الجزائري بطرابلس عبد القادر حجار، وكانت تحمل مطالب بـ"تهدئة الأجواء المشحونة والمتوترة بين البلدين"، على خلفية الحادثة الشهيرة بين اللاعب الليبي باني ولاعب الخضر السابق لخضر بلومي، والتي تسببت في إصابة خطيرة لنجم كرة القدم الجزائرية سنة 1985، كانت سببا مباشرا في كبح مشواره الكروي، حيث كانت تبعات الحادثة، التي كان يصفها الجزائريون بـ"الاعتداء"، والليبيون بـ"مجرد حادث"، تخيم بشكل قوي على علاقات شعبي البلدين، وكان يخشى تأثيرها على رد فعل الجماهير الليبية، التي كانت تنتظر اللقاء بـ"حماسة زائدة" رغم غياب بلومي عن تلك المباراة، وأكد الليبيون أن القذافي امتثل بشكل مباشر لـ"تعليمات" الرسالة الشفوية من الشاذلي، وقرر إلغاء المباراة رغم أن الترتيبات لها جرت بصفة عادية وتم حتى عقد الاجتماع الفني بقيادة الحكم الدولي التونسي ناجي الجويني، والذي اتفق فيه الطرفان على إعداد الاتحاد الليبي لرسالة وجهها للفيفا يعلن فيها انسحابه، بعد أن رفض الليبيون مقترح الجزائريين بدخول أرضية الملعب وقيامهم بالإجراءات القانونية لترسيم فوزهم على البساط خشية قيام الجماهير الغفيرة الحاضرة بالملعب بالقيام بأعمال شغب.

ولم يكن إلغاء اللقاء مفاجئا لليبيين فقط، بل كان كذلك للجزائريين واللاعبين، خاصة أن زملاء ماجر كانوا في وقت إعلان انسحاب المنتخب الليبي خلال الاجتماع الفني، على أرضية ملعب طرابلس الدولي بصدد معاينة أرضيته استعدادا للمواجهة التي كانت مقررة في السادسة مساء، وكان قرار القذافي أنذاك سببا مباشرا لتجميد نشاطات كرة القدم الليبية، وتوقيف نشاطها الدولي لسنوات، وهذا للمرة الثالثة في عهده، بعد توقيف النشاط ما بين سنتي 1979 و1982 في المرة الأولى، وما بين سنتي 1985 و1989.

سقوط عشرات القتلى احتجاجا على قرار القذافي
ولم ينزل قرار الإلغاء بردا وسلاما على عشرات الأنصار الحاضرين بملعب طرابلس الدولي، بل تسبب في سقوط عشرات القتلى برصاص قوات الأمن، بعد أن احتج المشجعون على قرار إلغاء المباراة، الذي علموا به في آخر لحظة، حيث أكد التقرير الصحفي الليبي أن قوات الأمن استعملت الرصاص الحي لتفريق الأنصار الغاضبين، كما اقتادت العشرات منهم إلى السجون والمعتقلات، بعد أن كانوا غادروا منازلهم صباحا من أجل مشاهدة مباراة في كرة القدم فقط.
