بين هداب عينيكي تنام عيناي
تنام وتغفو وهية متعبة مثل روحي
عيناي تسجدٌ في محراب عينيكي
وتغفو علي اعتاب صدركٍ
وتغفو كما يغفو الأموات
أتمني الموت هنا
ولكنني أبحثٌ‘ عن موت يريحني
الأنتحار ليس في مخيلتي
أبحثٌ عن موت يليق في هذه الروح
حين تموت روحي
تبقي عيناي ساجدة في محراب عينيكي
تتبختر وتزهو في المحراب الوسيع
من محراب عينيكي أكتبٌ رسالة للشمس

هنا في محبرة الدموع تتلعثم الحروف
وستختلط محبرتي في دموع عينيكي
وقلبي يتهدج ويختلط الأنين مع الألم
علي أعتاب ٍ صدرك كواكب مجهولة
لم يطئ أرضها أي انسان
وهنا سأكتب اشعاري ومذكراتي علي كوكب مجهول
وبعدها سأموت وتسمو روحي ألي الملكوت البعيد
