المولد و النشأة :
ولد الشهيد (عزيل عبد القادر البريكي) في 14 جوان 1927 بدوار متكعوك دائرة بريكة ابن عزيل أمحمد بن عيسى وامه عزيل زينب بنت صالح تربي المجاهد والشهيد في أحضان أسرة فلاحيه بسيطة وما ان بلغ سن الدراسة حتى أرسله أبوه إلي كتاتيب القرية ليتعلم ويحفظ القرآن، وما ان ينتهي من الدراسة يساعد اباه في كافة شؤونه الفلاحية والمنزلية وما إن اشتد عوده اتخذ لنفسه هواية القنص بالبندقية وإثناء سنوات الحرب العالمية الثانية التي ذاق خلالها شعبنا مرارة الجوع والحرمان انتقلت عائلته إلي قرية ’’ ماونة ’’ (ولاية قالمة حاليا) لأسباب عديدة، ولم تكد تستقر هذه العائلة هناك حتى اتضح للسلطات العسكرية أن الشهيد لم يؤد الخدمة العسكرية لأنه كان بين المعتقلين أثناء أحداث 08 مارس 1945 فنقلته السلطات الاستعمارية الي الثكنة العسكرية بقسنطينة حيث جند في الجيش الاستعماري الي غاية 1949 ولما سرح من ا لتجنيد رجعت عائلته إلي قريتها الأصلية.

التحاقه بالثورة :
في أوائل ماي 1955 وفي عيد الفطر التحق نهائيا باخوانه المجاهدين رفقة (فرحات فرحات) من عين التوتة الي النطقة المذكورة حيث كان له الاتصال ثم ما لبث ان انتقل مع اخوانه الي الجبل (بوطالب) حيث عين قائدا لوحده من جيش التحرير وبقي هناك أي في الناحية الرابعة من المنطقة الأولى الي اواخر سنة 1956 حيث التحق بالولاية الثالثة التي بقي بها الي أوائل سنة حيث استدعي الي اجتماع مجلس قيادة الثورة الذي انعقد بطرابلس في صيف 1959 وسافر صحبة العقيد (عميروش) وغيره من الظباط الساميين لجيش التحرير الوطني واستطاع الوصول الي الحدود الشرقية والمشاركة في اشغال المجلس الوطني للثورة.
بعض أعماله الثورية :
كمين بجبل أولاد علي قرب مدينة عين أزال بولاية سطيف. حيث تمكن جيش التحرير من احتراز النصر وتدمير آليات العدو 2- هجوم علي مدينة بريكة عام 1955 استهدف الحامية العسكرية بها وقد تم في هذا الهجوم حرق مزارع المعمرين المتواجدين. كما قتل عدد من الجنود الفرنسيين الذين جاءوا لنجدة هذه المزارع. 3- كمين سبلا في صيف 1956 حيث أقام كمين علي القافلة العسكرية التي كانت متجهة من سطيف إلي بريكة على اثر هذا الكمين الناجح أغلقت الطريق إلي غاية الاستقلال. 4 - كمين دشرة أولاد الحاج (دائرة بوقاعة) حيث تم القضاء علي عساكر العدو الفرنسي وحرق آلياته وغنم سلاحهم هذه عينة من قائمة طويلة للأعمال البطولية التي قام بها الشهيد من اجل تحرير الجزائر من الاستعمار الفرنسي وما زال رفاق الشهيد عزيل عبد القادر يذكرون المعارك التي قادها بنجاح في الولاية الأولى. سهول الحضنة جبال بوطالب وأولاد تبان بالولاية الثالثة جبال البابور. البنيان. وادي الصومام. أو في الصحراء أو الحدود الشرقية.
استشهاده :
ما أن اجتاز هو والمجاهدين الذين كانوا معه خط موريس، حتى اشتبك مع القوات الفرنسية في سلسلة من المعارك، ابتدأت من الخط الأول إلى نواحي سوق اهراس، فاستشهد ومن معه من المجاهدين في 07 ديسمبر 1959.
