المخابرات الأمريكية تمنى بنكسة بعد التخلي عن قاعدة في ليبيا

أفادت مصادر حكومية أمريكية رسمية، اليوم السبت، أن جهود المخابرات الأمريكية في ليبيا منيت بنكسة كبيرة بسبب التخلي عن منشأة في بنغازي، وصفتها صحيفة بأنها "قاعدة للمخابرات المركزية الأمريكية"، بعد جلسة عقدها الكونغرس الأسبوع الماضي.

وأخلِي موقع المخابرات الواقع على بعد كيلومترين من السفارة الأمريكية التي إستهدفها متشددون في هجوم وقع في 11 سبتمبر، أدى إلى قتل السفير الأمريكي "كريستوفر ستيفنز" وثلاثة أمريكيين آخرين في الهجمات على المباني التي كانت تشغلها الولايات المتحدة، من بينهم إثنان أصيبا في إنفجار مورتر في المجمع السري.

وقالت مصادر حكومية شريطة عدم نشر إسمها، أن نشر صور الأقمار الصناعية التي أظهرت مكان الموقع وتصميمه، جعل من الصعب إن لم يكن مستحيلا على وكالات المخابرات شغل هذا المكان من جديد.



وقالت المصادر أن هذا الموقع كان يستخدم من بين أمور أخرى كقاعدة لجمع المعلومات عن إنتشار الاسلحة التي نهبت من ترسانات الحكومة الليبية بما في ذلك صواريخ أرض جو . وأضافت أن التجهيزات الأمنية لهذا الموقع بما في ذلك التحصينات وأجهزة الاستشعار والكاميرات كانت أكثر تطورا من التجهيزات التي كانت موجودة في الفيلا المستأجرة التي قتل فيها ستيفنز.

وقالت المصادر أن وكالات المخابرات ستجد وسائل أخرى لجمع المعلومات في ليبيا في أعقاب إسقاط الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي في العام الماضي.

وقال مسؤول أمريكي"بنغازي لعبت دورا حاسما في ظهور ليبيا الجديدة وستواصل فعل ذلك . ومن المنطقي أن نعود إلى هناك لمواصلة بناء العلاقات."

وبدأ النقاش العام لهذا الموقع البالغ السرية بجلسة إستماع مثيرة للجدال عقدتها يوم الأربعاء الماضي لجنة الإشراف والإصلاح الحكومي بمجلس النواب الأمريكي التي تحقق فيما إذا كانت هذه الأخطاء الأمنية تعرض الأمريكيين للخطر.

ونشرت وزارة الخارجية الامريكية صورة التقطتها الاقمار الصناعية تظهر موقعين وهما الفيلا المستأجرة التي كانت تستخدم كمقر للبعثة الدبلوماسية الخاصة والمجمع الذي وصفه مسؤولون بشكل غامض بأنه"ملحق" أو"منزل أمن" للدبلوماسيين.

وتعرض كلا المبنيين لهجمات من متشددين يعتقد أن لهم صلة بالقاعدة. وقال مسؤولون أنه بعد إجتياح المجمع الدبلوماسي هرع أفراد أمريكيون وليبيون بسيارات الى الموقع الثاني حيث صدوا موجتين من الهجمات.

وقال شارلين لامب وهو مسوؤل كبير في مكتب الأمن الدبلوماسي بوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية للنواب أن المجمع السري أصيب"بثلاث إصابات مباشرة."

وقتل جلين دورتي وتيرون وودز وهما مسؤولان أمنيان أمريكيان كبيران هناك فيما وصفه مسؤولون أمريكيون بهجوم مورتر مؤسف. وفر في نهاية الأمر 37 شخصا إلى مطار بنغازي.

ولدى عرض الصورة شكا جاسون تشافيتز وهو عضو كبير في اللجنة من أن النقاش إنجرف إلى "مسائل سرية تتعامل مع مصادر وأساليب" وحذفت الصورة من العرض العام. ولم يستخدم أحد خلال الجلسة تعبير"قاعدة المخابرات المركزية الأمريكية" لوصف هذه المنشأة.

وفي الصباح التالي كتبت دانا ميلبانك وهي كاتبة عمود بصحيفة واشنطن بوست أن "الإستجواب الأحمق" الذي قامت به اللجنة لشهود وزارة الخارجية لم يترك شكا يذكر في أن المجمع الذي ظهر في الصورة"قاعدة للمخابرات المركزية الأمريكية.

وإتهم مركز التقدم الأمريكي وهو مركز بحثي بواشنطن له علاقات بإدارة الرئيس باراك أوباما الجمهوريين بالكشف عن "موقع قاعدة سرية للمخابرات الأمريكية."

وإتهم أمس الجمعة دتش ربرسبيرجر وهو عضو ديمقراطي كبير في لجنة المخابرات بمجلس النواب الأمريكي الجمهوريين بسوء التعامل مع المعلومات السرية.

ولم يكن لدى المتحدثين الرسميين باسم وزارة الخارجية والبيت الأبيض تعليق. ولم يكن لدى المخابرات الأمريكية تعليق أيضا.
