فوز الاتحاد الأوروبي بنوبل للسلام رغم ازمة الديون

اوسلو (رويترز) - فاز الاتحاد الأوروبي بجائزة نوبل للسلام يوم الجمعة لدوره المهم في توحيد القارة فيما تأتي الجائزة لتعطي دفعة معنوية للاتحاد الذي يسعى جاهدا لحل أزمة الديون التي يمر بها.

وقال رئيس لجنة الاختيار ثوربيورن ياجلاند خلال الإعلان عن الجائزة إنها "رسالة الى اوروبا لتفعل كل ما بوسعها لتؤمن ما حققته وتمضي قدما" وأضاف أن هذه تذكرة بما سيفقد "اذا تم السماح بانهيار الاتحاد."

وأشاد بالاتحاد لإعادة البناء بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية ولدوره في نشر الاستقرار بعد سقوط حائط برلين عام 1989.

وستسلم الجائزة البالغة قيمتها 1.2 مليون دولار في اوسلو في 10 ديسمبر كانون الأول. واتخذت اللجنة المكونة من خمسة اعضاء ويرأسها ياجلاند وهو ايضا الأمين العام للمجلس الأوروبي قرارها بالإجماع.

وفاز الاتحاد الاوروبي من بين 231 مرشحا منهم منشقون روس وزعماء دينيون يعملون من اجل المصالحة بين المسلمين والمسيحيين.

ويواجه الاتحاد الاوروبي أزمة بسبب اليورو العملة الموحدة التي تشترك فيها 17 دولة. ويمثل فوزه بالجائزة مفاجأة نظرا للمشاكل الحالية التي يعاني منها.

ويعارض الكثير من النرويجيين بشدة الاتحاد الاوروبي ويعتبرونه مصدر تهديد لسيادة الدول. وقال هيمينج اولاوسن وهو زعيم المنظمة النرويجية المناهضة لعضوية الاتحاد الأوروبي لهيئة الإذاعة النرويجية "أجد هذا غريبا."

وأضاف "في امريكا اللاتينية ومناطق اخرى من العالم سينظرون الى هذا برؤية مختلفة تماما عن التي سينظرون بها من بروكسل. الاتحاد تكتل تجاري يسهم في استمرار الكثير من الدول في فقر."

وصوتت النرويج التي تمنح جائزة السلام مرتين "برفض" الانضمام للاتحاد عامي 1972 و1994. وازدهرت البلاد خارج إطار الاتحاد بفضل مواردها الهائلة من النفط والغاز.

ويشكل البرلمان اللجنة المكونة من خمسة اعضاء. وهناك انقسامات عميقة بين الاحزاب داخل البرلمان بشأن عوضية الاتحاد. ويؤيد ياجلاند منذ فترة طويلة الانضمام الى عضويته.
