إن أحد الأسباب الباعثة على تمكن هذه الآفة من النفوس هو الجهل الجهل بحقيقة النفس، والجهل بحقيقة الحياة، والجهل بصفات الرب جل وعلا، فإذا جهل الإنسان كل هذه المعاني رفع نفسه فوق قدرها ، وترفع على الخلق ، وتكبر على الله فصار من المغرورين.....


نعم هكدا اصفع العاقل بكلمة حكيمة فإنها تكون في قلبه كالحمى في الصيف
