تعجّبت لحالنا كيف نكذب و نخون
و نجمع و نلم مال قارون
حتى صرنا اليوم من أهل المجون
و أصبحنا كتابا مظلما يحمل سرا غامضا مكنون
و قلبنا ساده الصمت و السكون
و لا نخجل من حلم الإله علينا في هذا الزمن الكريه المفتون...


نحكي و نتكلّم عن فسادنا و نسميه عادة بلا خجل..
نحيّي فجورنا و نقول له أجل
..آآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآآه كم غرّنا طول الأمل
وكم غاب عن قلوبنا من الله الخوف و الوجل
و نسينا موعد و قروب الأجل..


هيّا نبادر بتوبة نصوح قبل أن تزول النعم
و تحل علينا ساعة النقم
فنندم يوم لا ينفع الندم...
