لا تدمي الدنيا وتقولي : هي دار خديعة ومكيدة وغرور فإنها ليست كذلك إلا عند ذوي العقول الناقصة ومن يعرض له الجهل و النسيان و لو كانت دار خديعة بالحقيقة لكان الإنسان منذ بدئ ظهورها فيها إلى وقت خروج منها لا يشافه منها إلا نعيما و لذات وسرورا

ثم تأتيه المساءة حينئد بغتة فتزيله عن ذلك النعيم و يستحيل به ما كان فيه إلى خلاف ذلك و ليس الأمر فيها كذلك بل إنما يرى الإنسان ينشأ في هذه الدنيا و يتربى بأحوال مختلفة فيوما محزون و يوما مسرور و يوما متلذذ ويوما متألم متوجع

و الشيء الدي أظهر لك جميع ما في طبعه فقد أنصفك ونصحك و إنما المخادع من كان طبعه الخير و الشر فأظهر الخير و أبطن الشر لوقت الفرصة المكنة منك

ولست أرى أحدا نال من هذه الدنيا فرصة إلا و أعقبه ذلك غصة وألما

ليس هذا شرط المخادعة من قبل الذنيا و إنما المخادعة من قبل الإنسان لنفسه

ذلك أن الإنسان الناقص هو المخادع نفسه المهلك لها لا الدنيا

لأن الدنيا قد أظهرت له جميع ما في طبعها من نعيم وبؤس

فاغتبط الضعيف العقل بنعيمها و اعتقده دائما ونسي بؤسها و أهمله ثم يقول

خدعتني الدنيا

و أي خداع خدعته الدنيا

و إنما هو المخادع نفسه و المهلك لها

إن أردت أن تعرفي حال النفس بعد مفارقتها الجسد فانظري إلى حالها و هي ملازمة له
فإن كانت موافقة للإصابة فإنه بعد مفارقتها الجسد لن تؤديها عادتها بالإصابة إلا إلى الإصابة وحسن العاقبة و الثواب
وإن كانت مقارنة للخطأ فإن عادتها لن تؤديها إلا إلى الخطأ
و الخطأ و العمى يثمر لها العقاب

انظري يا نفس كم اخرج الموت نفسا من دارها لم يدارها . وكم أنزل أجسادا بجارها لم يجارها . و كم أجرى العيون كالعيون بعد قرارها.

أين من ملك المغارب و المشارق, وعمر النواحي وغرس الحدائق وفال الأماني وركب الصواعق ,صاح به من داره وغراب بين ناعق, وطرقه في لهوه اقطع طارق , وزجرت عليه رعود وصواعق, وحل به ما شيب بعض المفارق, وقلاه الحبيب الذي يفارق, وهجره الصديق و الرفيق الصادق, ونقل عن جوار المخلوقين إلى جوار الخالق, نازله و الله الموت فلم يحاشه وأدله بالقهر بعد عز جاشه , و أبدله خشن التراب بعد لين فراشه , و مزقه الدود في قبره كتمزيق قماشه , وبقي في ضنك شديد من معاشه , وبعد عن الصديق فكأنه لم يماشه ,ما نفعه و الله الاحتراز و لا ردت عنه الركاز ,بل ضره من الزاد الأعواز وصار و الله عبرة للمجتاز, وقطع شاسعا من السبل الاوفاز, وبقي رهينا لا يدري أهلك أم فاز ,وما أنت فيه الآن أحلام , وما سمعت ستراه يا نفس غدا على التمام
