ترددت أنباء عن هروب كبار قادة نظام الأسد من دمشق باتجاه الساحل السوري وذلك من أجل الدفاع عن آخر معاقله في الساحل.

وأشارت مصادر إلى أن عدة انفجارات ضخمة وقعت في أحياء دمشقية عدة، بينما لجأ النظام إلى وقف خدمة النت والاتصالات وهو ما أكدته شركات نت عالمية ويخشى البعض أن يكون ذلك مقدمة لاستخدام النظام أسلحة الدمار الشامل سيما وأن كتائب الدفاع الجوية السورية بدأت تسقط بأيدي الجيش الحر.

كما أكدت مصادر متطابقة وقوع اشتباكات عنيفة بين الجيش الحر وكتائب الأسد حول مطار دمشق وقالت مصادر في الجيش الحر إن مدفعيتها دكت مطار المدينة وهو ما تسبب في أغلاق المطار أمام الملاحة الجوية حيث كانت آخر رحلة طيران تحط فيه طائرة تابعة للشركة الجزائرية وقد علق الركاب في داخل المطار بسبب القصف وإغلاق الطرق المؤدية إلى المطار.

يأتي ذلك في وقت تحدثت معلومات عن إن إدارة الرئيس الاميركي باراك أوباما تدرس احتمال التدخل بشكل أعمق في سورية لتنحية الرئيس بشار الأسد عن السلطة.

ونقلت صحيفة نيويورك تايمز عن مسؤولين حكوميين على صلة بالمناقشات، أن إدارة أوباما تأمل أن يكون الصراع في سورية وصل إلى نقطة تحول، وهي تدرس القيام بتدخل أعمق للمساهمة بتنحية الأسد عن السلطة.

وأشاروا إلى أنه على الرغم من عدم اتخاذ أي قرار بعد، إلا أن الإدارة الأميركية تدرس بدائل عدة من ضمنها تزويد بعض المقاتلين المعارضين بالسلاح بشكل مباشر.

وقال مصدر إن المسؤولين الأميركيين ناقشوا الاحتمالات كافة قبل الانتخابات الرئاسية غير أن فوز أوباما والنجاحات التكتيكية لمقاتلي المعارضة شجع البيت الأبيض على اتخاذ قرارات أكثر جرأة ومنح هذا الجدل طابعاً ملحاً جديداً.

وفي لندن ذكرت صحيفة ديلي تلغراف ، أن بريطانيا أصدرت إشارة واضحة عن استعداد الغرب لتسليح المعارضة السورية في غضون أشهر، بعد فوزها بالمعركة الدبلوماسية لضمان قيام الاتحاد الأوروبي بمراجعة الحظر الذي يفرضه على تسليحهم في مطلع العام المقبل. إقرا أيضا
