أَيَا مَن لقلب عَََدَاهُ البلَى...وَنَاحلُ جسم ضواه البلا

لحب نوار جوى في الفؤاد...فحينا تصد و طورين لا

سأكتب شعرا على مضض...وأن كنت أعلم أن لا غنى

وما داك مني خليقة بخل...ولكنه قد يضيع سدى

وبعض المكارم ينفي الكريم...وبعض الندى قد يعود شجى

ولكنني سوف أغدو لخوفي...لعلمي بأن المخافة دا(داء)

أسفت لربع تحل النوار به ممرع مستنيف الربى

وأد نحن فيها دوو جيرة...و نغدو و لا نخشى هدا ودا

صغار ولم يكتنفنا احتلام...نروح ونمسي كزوج القطا

فليت الزمان توقف عنا...ودمنا بعيش خفي الهنا

ألم الزمان بكلكله...فأضحى الجميع شتيت العصا

خلا الربع من أهل نور و قد...تحل بحي كثير الحصى

وأمست ولا أنس فيها أنيس...تفرق كل أيادي سبا

وخفت بهودجها دات خف...تحث المسير و تفري السرى

وأبعد بيني و ما بينها ....كبعد الشآم و خيف منى

وفاضت دموع العيون عليها...كصوب سماء همى فسقى

سأشدو بدكرك ما عشت دهري...وأرجو التلاقى وأبدي الحيا

وأني أدا زمن ضامني...أحاول أو أستحث الخطى

وأسوأ شيء لدى شاعر ...مبالغة و عزوب الحجى

وأحمق لم تر قط عيوني...وبعدك منك أرى لا أرى

ومادا الجزائر من أمة ....يقال لمن فر منها نجا

تضيع الحقوق وكيف ولا...وقاضي القضاة الدي قد جنا

ولست أرى الحق ما قلته...سبابا وان كان فيه الردى

وقد يحمد الأمر في حينه....و بعد غد تزدريه النهى

كأني و قد قمت من بينكم....شهيد على جوركم في الورى

ولدت بنجد و طفت العراقين...لكنني قد دفنت هنا
