افادت وكالة "اسوشيتد برس" الامريكية يوم الاربعاء 5 كانون الاول بأن الولايات المتحدة قررت ادراج احدى المجموعات المسلحة المعارضة في سورية، المسماة "جبهة النصرة" المرتبطة بتنظيم "القاعدة"، في قائمة المنظمات الارهابية الاجنبية.

وقات الوكالة ان مقر هذه المجموعة الاساسي، حسب المعطيات الاولية، يقع على الحدود السورية-التركية، وانها اخذت على عاتقها مسؤولية التفجيرات الارهابية الكبيرة في دمشق المنفذة عبر انتحاريين في 9 تشرين الاول، والهجمات العديدة ضد القوات الحكومية، والهجوم على المركز الاخباري في العاصمة دمشق ، واغتيال الصحفيين المحليين.

وذكرت الـ"اسوشيتد برس" ان الاعلان رسميا عن ادراج "جبهة النصرة" في قائمة المنظمات الارهابية الاجنبية سيتم الاسبوع المقبل. وستعني هذه الخطوة عمليا منع تقديم المواطنين الامريكيين اية مساعدة لها، وكذلك تجميد كافة اصولها المصرفية في الولايات المتحدة ان وجدت.

ومن الواضح ان قرار الادارة الامريكية هذا يملك معنى رمزيا ويعكس حالة القلق المتنامية من تصعيد النشاطات الراديكالية في سورية ويهدف الى وقف ذلك وارسال اشارة تنبيه الى باقي المجموعات المسلحة لردعها عن التحول الى التطرف.
