‎الشيخ شعثان‎
وقفت وفي يدي زمن جـميلٌ
مـن الذكرى يضوع بما لدَيَّا
وقفت وفي المدى أطياف أنثى
تـروادني ولست بـها حَفِيَّا
وقفت ببابها هل سوف أمضي
وأطـرق بابـها طرقا خفـيَّا
وقفت ببابـها هل سوف أبقى
عـلى عتـباته ظِـلاًّ وَفِـيَّا
أسائل، ما أسائل؟ هل فؤادٌ
على عرش الـمهابة قد تَـزَيَّا
أم الذكرى بنبض القلب مدَّتْ
خيالا قـد طوى الأزمان طَـيَّا؟
هو الـمعنى الشَّفيف بلا جدال
قد استعصت مفاتـنه عَـلَـيَّا
أرقتُ به ومنه الـتاعَ روحي
وجاب بـه فـضاءً مُـخْمَلِيَّا
هو الـمعنى، وليس له نظـيرٌ
يشابـهني، فـيأخذنـي إلـيَّا
هو الـمعنى تجلّى فـي بـهاءٍ
من الـحبّ الذي ما زال حَـيَّا
على قـدرٍ أبـوحُ بـمُفرداتي
وحرفي يعرف الـمعنى القَصِـيَّا
سأقبـسُ سـرَّ جوهره مَصُوناً
وأحبـسُ لـذّةَ الألـفاظِ فِـيَّا
تحاصرُنـي بلوعـتها زمانـا
وقد ملكتْ جبينـي والـمُحَيَّا
هي الطّيف الذي لا زال يسمو
ويـرقى فوق أسـمائي رُقِـيَّا
أراوده فيشكـوني لـحزنـي
وبـثِّي ثـمّ يـدعوني شقـيَّا
أنا الأشقى إذا آنست صـوتاً
أهـامسُـهُ فيُسمـعُني دَوِيَّـا
أنا الأشقى إذا أغللت شكّي
وأدمنتُ اليقيـنَ الفوضـويَّا
فبين الشّكّ والرؤيا سـرابٌ
تغـشَّى البيْـن، بينهما تَفَـيَّا
تسرّب من لغاتـي كالأماني
وأسكننـي زمـاناً سرمـديَّا
به أحيا ولو مـاتت ظُنونـي
سأصبح كاسـدًا حَصِرًا عَيِيَّا
به أشقى ولكن سوف يبقى
يُـناشد خاطري الأمل البَقِيَّا
يـردّده بصوت ليس يـخلو
من الشكوى، تُصيّـرني غوِيَّا
سأكتب بالغـواية كل مـجدٍ
تشكَّـل فيّ وحـياً عـبقريَّا
وأنحتُ من لظى حرفـي سماءً
من الـمعنى ومن لُمَع الثُّـريَّا
إذا كان اليقيـنُ مـلاذَ سطرٍ
فـفي خطراته نـفنى سـوِيَّا
أنا أتـجاهل الـمعنى ملاذا
فلم يـعن اليقيـن لـديّ شَيَّا
مـجالُ الرؤية الوسنى إهابي
مددتُ إلـيه في غسـقٍ يـدَيَّا
فبارك مـحنتي وسهى قليلاً
فقمتُ مـخاطبا جَلَدِي: تـهيّا
إذا أخنت على الدّهر الرّزايا
وأغـرقتِ القـوافي والـرّوِيَّا
ستعبرُ من فجاج السّحر يوماً
إلى لـغةٍ تصـيرُ بـها نبـيّا
