يحكى أنّ فأرةً رأت جملاً فأعجبها , فجرّت خطامه فتبعها , فلمّا وصلت إلى باب بيتها
وقف الجمل متأمّلا صُغر باب بيت الفأرة مقارنةً بحجمه الكبير جدًّا
فنادى الجمل الفأرة قائلاً :
إمّا ان تتخذي دارًا تليق بمحبوبك ,أو تتخذي محبوبًا يليق بدارك !


قال ابن القيم بعد أن أورد الأسطورة السابقه
في (بدائع الفوائد) , مخاطبًا كل مؤمن وَ مؤمنه :


إمّا أن تصلّي صلاةً تليقُ بمعبودك ! , أو تتخذ معبودًا يليقُ بصلاتك ..

سُئل حاتم الأصم رحمه الله كيف تخشع في صلاتك

قال : بأن أقوم فأكبر للصلاة ..و أتخيل الكعبة أمام عيني ..
والصراط تحت قدمي , والجنة عن يميني والنار عن شمالي , وملك الموت ورائي , و أن رسول الله يتأمل صلاتي وأظنها آخر صلاة , فأكبر الله بتعظيم
و أقرأ و أتدبر و أركع بخضوع و أسجد بخضوع
و أجعل في صلاتي الخوف من الله و الرجاء في رحمته ثم أسلم ولا أدري أقُبلت أم لا ؟؟
