دمشق تحذر من لجوء "المجموعات الإرهابية" إلى إستخدام السلاح الكيمياوي

حذرت وزارة الخارجية السورية في رسالتين بعثت بهما إلى رئيس مجلس الأمن الدولي والأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، من استخدام "المجموعات الإرهابية" السلاح الكيمياوي ضد الشعب السوري، مؤكدة في الوقت نفسه أن دمشق لن تلجأ من جهتها "في أي ظرف" إلى استخدام السلاح الكيمياوي "إن وجد لديها".

وجاء في البيان الذي أوردته وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية "سانا" أن "سوريا تحذر من قيام المجموعات الإرهابية باللجوء إلى استخدام السلاح الكيمياوي ضد أبناء الشعب السوري، وتستهجن عدم تحرك المجتمع الدولي لمعالجة تطورات الوضع بعد سيطرة المجموعات الإرهابية مؤخرا على معمل خاص لتصنيع مادة الكلور السامة شرق مدينة حلب".

كما انتقدت المجتمع الدولي بسبب "عدم محاسبة داعمي المجموعات الإرهابية، عملا بقرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي ذات الصلة".

ويرجح أن المقصود بهذا المعمل مصنع "الشركة السورية السعودية"، قرب بلدة السفيرة في محافظة حلب، التي استولى عليها مقاتلون معارضون، على رأسهم جبهة النصرة، في مطلع هذا الأسبوع. وينتج هذا المصنع غاز الكلور والصودا الكاوية (كوستيك صودا)، ويقع في منطقة زراعية. وتقدم مزارعون في الماضي بشكاوى عدة ضد المصنع المذكور بحجة تلويثه مياه الري.

وأكد بيان الخارجية أن "سوريا لن تستخدم السلاح الكيمياوي إن وجد لديها، تحت أي ظرف، كان لأنها تدافع عن شعبها ضد الإرهاب المدعوم من دول معروفة، تأتي الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في مقدمتها".

وحذرت الأمم المتحدة ودول غربية وحلف شمال الأطلسي خلال الأيام الماضية النظام السوري من استخدام الأسلحة الكيمياوية في النزاع القائم في بلاده منذ أكثر من عشرين شهراً.
