الخيارات المحدودة أمام الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد

نشرت صحيفة "ذي تايمز" البريطانية أمس السبت تحليلاً شارك في كتابته مراسلها مارت فليتشر الذي غطى ميدانيا تطورات الصراع في سوريا والمحلل في الصحيفة نيكولاس بلانفورد يتناولان فيه الخيارات المحدودة أمام الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد بينما تزداد المعارضة المسلحة لنظامه قوةً وتسليحاً وجرأة.

وفي ما يأتي نص التحليل: "في الجبال المطلة على ميناء اللاذقية توجد قرية القرداحة، مقر أجداد عائلة الأسد التي تحكم سوريا منذ أربعين عاماً.

وفي ذلك المكان ترعرع حافظ، والد الرئيس بشار، وسط أقرانه العلويين، وهو مدفون هناك في ضريح مهيب إلى جانب نجله باسل الذي توفي جراء حادث إصطدام سيارة في 1994.

وكما تراجع الرئيس العراقي صدام حسين إلى بلدته تكريت بعد الغزو الأمريكي للعراق، ومثلما لجأ العقيد معمر القذافي إلى سرت التي ولد في منطقتها بعد سقوط طرابلس، فقد يختار الرئيس الأسد أن يقف وقفةً أخيرة في القرداحة إذا سقط نظام حكمه.

وبينما يطبق الثوار على دمشق، يواجه الأسد مصائر عدة محتملة. إذ يمكن أن يلقى حتفه في القتال. ويمكن أن يؤسر، ويحاكم ويعدم. ويمكن أن يطاح به في إنقلاب ينفذه الجنرالات أو رؤساء قوات الأمن أملاً في إنقاذ أنفسهم بالتوصل الى صفقة مع خصومهم. ويمكن أن يختار اللجوء إلى منفى في الخارج، مع أن من المشكوك فيه أن تسمح له بطانته الداخلية بالمغادرة ما لم يمنحوا – هم وعائلاتهم أيضاً - طريقا آمناً للخروج وملجأً.

وبدلاً من ذلك، يمكن أن يفر مع بقايا جيشه ذي القيادة العلوية إلى مناطق العلويين الداخلية في سوريا – وهي شريط جبلي على ساحل البحر الأبيض المتوسط يمتد لمسافة 60 ميلاً إلى الجنوب من الحدود التركية إلى ميناء طرطوس. وفكرة أن "خطة الإحتياط" لدى النظام هي إعادة خلق الدويلة العلوية التي وجدت بين الحربين العالميتين هي فكرة بعيدة الإحتمال. ذلك أن الرئيس الأسد لا يبقى إلا بدعم من روسيا وإيران، ولكن أياً منهما لن يكون لها ادنى اهتمام بدعمه بمجرد ان يكون قد غادر دمشق.

والقرى الجبلية غالبية سكانها الساحقة من العلويين، ولكن معظم المدن والبلدات الساحلية تقطنها غالبيات سنية ستقاوم بضراوة أي إنفصال. وقال جوشوا لانديس مدير مركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط في جامعة أوكلاهوما: "لا يوجد هناك مطار دولي، ولا محطات للطاقة الكهربائية، ولا صناعات مهمة ولا أي شيء لبناء إقتصاد وطني". وهو يقول أيضاً أنه لا يمكن الدفاع عن ذلك القطاع وأن أي حكومة في عهد ما بعد الأسد لا يمكن أن تسمح بفقدان شريط سوريا الساحلي على البحر المتوسط..

ولكن هناك مؤشرات إلى أن النظام يعتزم الإنسحاب إلى المنطقة الساحلية إذا ما سقطت دمشق. ويقول محللون أن أحد الأسباب التي جعلت النظام يقاتل ذلك القتال الشديد للإحتفاظ بالسيطرة على حمص والقرى التي تحف بالطريق الرئيسي السريع من دمشق إلى الساحل هو الإبقاء على ممر الهرب ذاك مفتوحاً. والواقع أن كثيرين من علويي سوريا البالغ عددهم 2،6 مليون نسمة – 12 في المائة من مجموع السكان – قد فروا فعلاً إلى هناك مع تسارع تقدم الثورة المستمرة منذ 20 شهراً في المناطق الأخرى.

وقال دبلوماسي غربي لـ"التايمز": "المزيد والمزيد من أنصار النظام، أو عائلاتهم، ينتقلون الى الساحل، وهناك إشاعات ملحة عن أن جزءاً على الأقل من الحكومة يتخذ مقراً له في طرطوس. كل المؤشرات تدل إلى أن موقف النظام التراجعي هو التقهقر الى منطقة طرطوس واللاذقية الساحلية".

ويمكن أن يلجأ الرئيس الأسد ومؤيدوه الباقون إلى طرطوس التي توجد فيها غالبية علوية وقاعدة بحرية روسية، أو إلى اللاذقية حيث له قصر صيفي، أو الى الجبال المحيطة بالقرداحة حيث توجد أعلى كثافة للعلويين.

أما إلى أي مدى يمكنه أن يصمد فأمر يعتمد على كم من جيشه المحطم يذهب معه. كما سيعتمد ذلك على مدى بقاء مواطنيه العلويين موالين لرئيس أطيح به وجلب كارثة لطائفته، ومن شأنه وجوده بين ظهرانيهم أن يجعلهم هدفاً لمزيد من الهجمات.

وبعكس والده، فإن بشار الأسد لم يترعرع في القرداحة، وحتى هناك ذكرت أنباء أن قتالاً إندلع بين عائلات مؤيدة لقيادته وأخرى معارضة لها.

وقال كريس دويل، مدير مجلس التفاهم العربي-البريطاني: "ليس بوسع المرء أن يعرف كيف سيكون رد فعل العلويين. يمكن أن يقولوا: تمهلوا – هل سنقبل هذا الرجل هنا؟ سيكون مصدر خسارة بالنسبة إليهم".
