عادت بي الذكريات إلى زمن الطفولة فوجدت فيها شيء جميل لإخواني



كان أبي يصطحبني مرات معه إدا تسوق وكنت ألح عليه كي يشتري لي كل ما تقع عليه عيني



فلما ضجر مني يوما اهتدى لفكرة وهي أن أسكتني بقصة عن رجل تركي



اسمه ""خير الدين كججي أفندي""وقد كان شخصا ورعا يعيش في منطقة

"فاتح"

صاحبنا هذا كان عندما يمشي في السوق وتتوق نفسه لشراء فاكهة أو لحم أو حلوى يقول في نفسه

""صانكي يدم""



" بالعربية يعنى "كأنني أكلت" ثم يضع ثمن تلك" الفاكهة أو اللحم أو الحلوى في صندوق له

ومضت الأشهر والسنوات وهو يكف نفسه عن كل لذائد الأكل ، ويكتفي بما يقيم أوده فقط ، وكانت النقود تزداد في صندوقه شيئا فشيئا ، حتى استطاع بهذا المبلغ الموفور القيام ببناء مسجد صغير في محلته ، ولما كان أهل المحلة يعرفون قصة هذا الشخص الورع الفقير ، وكيف استطاع أن يبني هذا المسجد أطلقوا على الجامع اسم

انطلت على أختكم الحيلة وكلما طلبت شيء قال لي أبي

"" صانكي يدم""



أتذكر فأسكت




حتى اهتديت إلى طريقة (داخ فيها)




كلما قال لي( صانكي يدم) أقول له أعطني الدراهم لأخبئها مثل ذلك الرجل



حتى إدا رأيتها كثرت وضعتها في مسجد عمر بن الخطاب



وكان هذا مسجد حيينا



وقد كان لي ذلك



كبرت معي هذه الفكرة وكبر معها حبي لهذا المسجد وبقيت وفية لجمع التبرعات لبنائه إلى يومنا هذا
