واشنطن دبرت هروب قياديين يمنيين في القاعدة للقيام مجدداً بعمليات في الشرق الأوسط

نشرت صحيفة (World Tribune) الأمريكية، الأحد الماضي، تقريرا يكشف معلومات خطيرة تشير إلى تورط الإدارة الأمريكية بتدبير فرار قيادات كبيرة من تنظيم القاعدة كانت معتقلة، بهدف القيام بعمليات إرهابية في الشرق الأوسط.

وقالت الصحيفة، التي تعرف نفسها بأنها «الصحيفة الأمريكية الوحيدة التي تركز على الأخبار العالمية»، إن ثمة معلومات تقول إن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية سمحت بهروب قادة بارزين من تنظيم القاعدة.

وأضافت أنه «واستنادا لوثائق حكومية، فقد أكد أحد المراقبين أن واشنطن مكّنت أعضاء بارزين في القاعدة من الهروب والقيام مجدداً بعمليات في الشرق الأوسط».

وقال توم فيتون، وهو رئيس منظمة الرقابة القانونية (الأمريكية)، إن «هذه الوثائق تقدّم دليلا إضافيا على أن الحكومة الفيدرالية، تحت إدارة كل من الرئيسين بوش وأوباما، قامت بإدارة برنامج إعتقال وإطلاق سراح الإرهابيين».

واستشهدت هذه المنظمة القانونية بعدد من الحالات، بما في ذلك: أن أنور العولقي، أعتقل عام 2002 في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ثم سمح له بالمغادرة بعد أسابيع من إعتقاله.

وتضيف الصحيفة: «وفي التقرير، قالت المجموعة، التي مقرها واشنطن، وحصلت على الوثائق من خلال سلسلة من الدعاوى القضائية, أن العولقي الذي قتل بغارة أمريكية في اليمن في سبتمبر 2011، كان قد تم إعتقاله من قبل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لمرتين على الأقل. كانت المرة الأولى التي أعتقل فيها، في العام 2002 في مطار جون إف كندي الدولي في نيويورك بموجب مذكرة إعتقال بتهمة تزوير جواز السفر، ما عرّضه لعقوبة سجن تصل إلى 10 سنوات».

وقالت منظمة الرقابة القانونية إن وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية وجّهت بإطلاق سراح العولقي. بعدها طار (فر) القيادي النشط في القاعدة إلى واشنطن، ومن هناك عاد إلى اليمن، حيث أصبح الرجل الثاني في شبكة التنظيم.

ويواصل التقرير: «وظلت واشنطن محافظة على إتصالاتها مع العولقي، المواطن الأمريكي، حتى وقت متأخر من شهر مارس عام 2011».

وتقول منظمة الرقابة القانونية إن السفارة الأمريكية طلبت من العولقي أن يأخذ وثيقة مجهولة الهوية، والتي تبيّن إلغاء جواز سفره الأمريكي.

وطبقا لإحدى البرقيات السرية المرفوعة، في 24 مارس 2011، من السفارة الأمريكية بصنعاء إلى وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، «احتفظت السفارة بخطاب إلغاء الجواز وأرسلت خطابا خاصا إلى السيد العولقي تُعلمه بأن لديه رسالة مهمة (سرية) لدى السفارة بشأن جواز سفره».

«واعتمدت ردة فعل وزارة الخارجية بناءً على التقرير المرفوع من الوزيرة، بأن أنشطة العولقي الخارجية تسبب أو من المحتمل أن تؤدي إلى إضراراً بالغا بالأمن القومي أو بالسياسة الخارجية للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية».

وقال المسؤولون إن العولقي كان أحد القيادات المستهدفة من قبل الاستخبارات الأمريكية. ويضيفون أنه عمل قائدا للعمليات الخارجية للقاعدة في شبه الجزيرة العربية، كما أنه خطط لتفجير طائرات ركاب أمريكية عامي 2009، 2010.

ويضيف فيتون: «إن فكرة دعوة العولقي، الإرهابي المعروف، إلى سفارتنا في اليمن من أجل إلغاء جواز سفره أمر لا يمكن تصديقه».
