حاذر حكم القرد ذا كنت أسدا

ضم سرك قردا وأسدا أو بالأحرى وحتى نعطي لكل
ذي حق حقه ضم أسدا وقردا إضافة إلى باقي
الحيوانات ، وقد خصصت هذين الحيوانين بالذكر لأن
كراهية سوداء كان يضمرها كل منهما للآخر خاصة القرد
الذي كان يرى أن الأسد قد حاز على كبير إهتمام من
قبل مالك السرك فقد كان يعطى اشهى الأطعمة ومن
أجله كادت الطبيعة أن تخلو من الحمير والغزلان ، بينما
يلقى إليه هو ببعض حبات الجوز و بعض الفواكه الإستوائية
الذابلة وقليل من الخبز اليابس .
ذات صباح جابهت صاحب السرك والحيوانات مصلحة غاية
في الإلحاح فنادى على القرد وأمّره على بني جنسه و
أوصاه خيرا بهم وأخبره أن مهمته تلك ستستغرق الكثير من
الوقت وعليه فإن عودته لن تكون إلا بعد غروب الشمس .
عاهد القرد صاحبه بل شكره على الثقة التي وضعها فيه .
لكن ما إن غادر المالك محل السرك حتى أصدر
القرد أمرا لباقي الحيوانات بالغناء وأمرا آخر للأسد بالرقص .
شعر هذا الأخير بالإهانة لكنه مع ذلك قام يرقص أمام الحيوانات
دون استثناء فشبعوا منه ضحكا واستهزاءا ، وبقي على هذه الحال
و دون أكل ولا شرب إلى أن شعر القرد بعودة صاحب السرك فامر
الجميع بإنهاء الغناء فأنتهى بدوره الأسد من الرقص ،فانزوى هذا الأخير
عقب ذلك في ركن لوحده مكسور الخاطر و راح ينشد :
إذا اتاك الزمان بذله // فالبس له ثوب الرضا
وارقص للقرد في دولته // وقل يا حسرتاه على زمن مضى .

تعلمين يا أمها أن القرد أكثر ذكاءا من الأسد فهو أقرب
إلى الإنسان منه ويرى نفسه المحق بالجلوس على
عرش الغابة وما فيها وليس الأسد الذي لايملك إلاّ
القوة والبطش دون العقل المطلوب والمرغوب في
القيادة ، لذلك فهو يرى أن الأسد قد ظلمه وأخذ منه
عرشه ومملكته ،
سلمت وسلمت بشرى .
