زوجة وزير بريطاني تدمر مستقبله
كشفت وثائق محكمة في لندن أمس الثلاثاء أن زوجة وزير بريطاني سابق تآمرت مع الصحف للقضاء على مستقبل زوجها المهني إنتقاما منه على تركها من أجل إمرأة أخرى.

وقدمت فيكي برايس (60 عاما) للمحاكمة بتهمة تحريف مسار العدالة في حادث مخالفة سرعة عام 2003 تلقت بسببه عقوبة بدلا من زوجها آنذاك كريس هيون المنتمي إلى حزب الديمقراطيين الأحرار، لتحميه من سحب رخصة قيادته.

وأقر هيون (58 عاما) بالذنب في تهمة تحريف مسار العدالة الإثنين الماضي في ما يتصل بالقضية ذاتها التي ترجع الى عام 2003. ويحتمل أن يصدر عليه حكم بالسجن.

واستقال هيون من منصب وزير الطاقة قبل عام عندما وجهت الإتهامات إليه هو وبرايس. وكان ينظر إليه باعتباره خلفا لنائب رئيس الوزراء نيك كليج بوصفه زعيما لحزب الديمقراطيين الأحرار لكن إعترافه بالذنب دمر مستقبله السياسي.

وكان من المتوقع أن يمثل هيون وبرايس، اللذين إنتهى زواجهما بعد 26 عاما في عام 2010 عندما إعترفا باقامة علاقة عاطفية، أمام القضاء معا بتهمة الإدلاء بمعلومات كاذبة للشرطة في عام 2003 بعدما أفادا أن برايس هي التي كانت تقود السيارة وليس كريس وقت مخالفة السرعة.

وتواجه برايس المحاكمة الآن وحدها. وقالت أنها غير مذنبة على أساس أنها تحملت خطأ هيون بالفعل لكنها لا تتحمل اللوم لأنه إستخدم "الإكراه الزوجي" لحملها على فعل ذلك.

ورفض أندور أديس ممثل الإدعاء هذا الدفع قائلا إن برايس، وهي خبيرة إقتصادية كانت تتولى منصبا عاما كبيرا آنذاك، لم تكن "إمرأة مغفلة" ليتم ترهيبها.

وقال الإدعاء أن الحادثة ظهرت إلى الأضواء في 2010-2011 لأن برايس أخبرت القصة لصحيفتي "ميل اون صنداي" و"صنداي تايمز" على أمل أن تنشرا مقالات تؤدي الى تدمير مستقبل هيون الوزاري.

وقال اديس "لا شك على الإطلاق أنها لم تكن حزينة فحسب بل إستبد بها الغضب وأرادت أن تنتقم".
