دعم أميركي لتسليح المعارضة السورية

قال وزير الدفاع الأميركي ليون بانيتا ورئيس هيئة الأركان المشتركة مارتن ديمبسي إن وزارة الدفاع (البنتاغون) تدعم فكرة تسليح المعارضة السورية، وفيما طالبت إيران باعتماد الحوار لحل الأزمة اتفقت مصر وتركيا على تفعيل المبادرة الرباعية الخاصة بسوريا.

فأثناء جلسة للجنة القوات المسلحة بمجلس الشيوخ الأميركي بشأن الهجوم الذي استهدف القنصلية الأميركية في بنغازي العام الفارط، طلب السيناتور جون ماكين من كلا المسؤولين إذا ما كانا قد دعما توصيات لوزيرة الخارجية الأميركية السابقة هيلاري كلينتون ورئيس وكالة الاستخبارات الأميركية (سي آي إيه) ديفيد بتريوس بتوفير أسلحة للمعارضة السورية، فقال بانيتا "نؤيدها" وثنى ديمبسي بعد وزير الدفاع قائلا "أيدناها".

وهذه التعليقات هي أول اعتراف علني من البنتاغون بتأييد تسليح المعارضة منذ أشارت صحيفة نيويورك تايمز في 2 فبراير/شباط إلى خطة وضعتها الصيف الماضي كلينتون وبتريوس لتسليح المعارضة.

ووفقا لإفادة بانيتا وديمبسي فإن الخطة واجهت معارضة من البيت الأبيض، وقالت نيويورك تايمز إن البيت الأبيض خشي أن تستدرج الخطة الولايات المتحدة إلى الصراع في سوريا، أو أن تؤول الأسلحة في نهاية المطاف إلى تنظيم القاعدة أو "منظمات إرهابية".

ويقود ماكين جبهة تأييد تسليح الولايات المتحدة للمعارضة، وقال في الجلسة "كم من الآخرين يجب أن يموتوا قبل أن نوصي بعمل عسكري؟".

دعوات للحوار
من جانب آخر دعا الرئيس الإيراني محمود أحمدي نجاد السوريين إلى حل نزاعهم عبر الحوار، وندد بالدعوات التي تطالب بتدخل أجنبي لإنهاء الصراع في سوريا.

وقال نجاد في مؤتمر صحفي على هامش قمة منظمة التعاون الإسلامي التي اختتمت أمس بالقاهرة إن بلاده تحاول التقريب بين طرفي النزاع في سوريا عبر حوار وطني، وعبّر عن تفاؤله لتقارب وجهات نظر تركيا ومصر وإيران بشأن هذه القضية.

من جانبهما اتفق الرئيسان المصري محمد مرسي والتركي عبد الله غل على تفعيل المبادرة الرباعية التي تضم الدولتين إلى جانب كل من السعودية وإيران، وعبر غل عن أمله بأن تنجح المبادرة في وقف نزيف الدم السوري، وقال إن "هذه الدماء التي تراق نشعر أنها تراق في ديارنا".

وجاءت هذه التصريحات في أعقاب اختتام قمة منظمة التعاون الإسلامي بالقاهرة التي دعت إلى إجراء "حوار جاد بين التحالف الوطني للثورة السورية وقوى المعارضة وممثلي الحكومة يفسح المجال لعملية انتقالية تمكن أبناء الشعب السوري من تحقيق طموحاتهم المشروعة في التغيير الديمقراطي".

موقف روسي
من جانب آخر قال الناطق باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ألكسندر لوكاشيفيتش إن موسكو لا ترى أي بديل عقلاني عن الحوار بين السلطة والمعارضة في سوريا.

وقال لوكاشيفيتش بمؤتمر صحفي في موسكو أمس الخميس إن بلاده ترحب بـ"عزم قوى المعارضة السورية على الدخول بحوار مع الحكومة السورية"، معتبرا هذا الحوار "السبيل الواقعي الوحيد للتسوية الذي قد يتيح للسوريين تحديد مصيرهم بأنفسهم".

وأشار إلى أن روسيا ستواصل إجراء اتصالات مكثفة مع السلطات السورية وقوى المعارضة، بهدف البحث عن نقاط التقاء لخروج البلد من النزاع الدموي.

وأشاد المسؤول الروسي بالدور الذي يقوم به المبعوث الدولي والعربي الأخضر الإبراهيمي في سوريا، وأكد أن روسيا دعمته وستواصل تقديم الدعم الثابت والشامل له، غير أنه أكد أن هذا الدعم "ليس من دون شروط"، وتحدث عن عدم إجماع على جميع أفكار المبعوث.

وفيما طالبت الصين سوريا بخطوات واقعية لبلوغ مرحلة انتقال سلمي، ردت دمشق على المبادرة التي أطلقها رئيس الائتلاف الوطني لقوى الثورة والمعارضة أحمد معاذ الخطيب بالمطالبة بإلقاء السلاح قبل أي حوار.

ورفض فيصل المقداد نائب وزير الخارجية السوري ضمنا الشروط التي وضعها رئيس الائتلاف الوطني، وبينها إطلاق 160 ألف سجين على رأسهم النساء، وقال إن "كل من يلقي السلاح ويأتي للحوار فأهلا وسهلا به".

وكان الخطيب اقترح محاورة نائب الرئيس السوري فاروق الشرع، وقال إن الحوار يستهدف رحيل نظام الرئيس بشار الأسد والدخول في مرحلة انتقالية تحقن الدماء. واشترط الخطيب إطلاق كل السجينات بحلول غد الأحد وإلا سحب المبادرة.

وانتقد المجلس الوطني السوري -وهو أكبر مكونات الائتلاف الوطني- مبادرة الخطيب، واعتبر أن القوة هي الخيار لإزاحة النظام. وقال في بيان إن ما سميت بمبادرة الحوار مع النظام قرار فردي لم يجر التشاور بشأنه.
