• إذا أحرقت نواة التمر وسحقتها انبتت رموش العين , و أحدت البصر ، وسودت العين .
ويطحن ويخلط مع زيت الزيتون ويستعمل للشعر فهو يساعد عالى نمو الشعر
• بالنسبة لنوى التمر واستعماله كقهوة تعتبره النساء من أقوى المغذيات والمدرات لحليب المرأة المرضع .
• يساعد نوى التمر في تسكين آلام الأسنان ، وذلك بتكسير النواة وجعلها في الفم ، واستحلابها ، فتقوم المادة الموجودة فيها بالتخدير لتميزها بطعم مر وقابض .
• يستعمل ككحل ، وذلك بطحنه وتحميسه على النار حتى يسود يقولون يجعل العيون واسعة وجميلة، ويقال: إن الكحل المصنوع من نوى التمر يقوى رموش العينين
• يمكن الاستفادة من نوى التمر حيث يمكن إنتاج ما يعرف ببديل الكاكاو (أو الشوكلاطة) وقد أجريت البحوث على ذلك وثبت نجاحها عندما خلطت مع الآيسكريم لم يستطع من أجريت عليهم التجربة التمييز بين الآيسكريم المضاف اليه الشوكلاطة أو المضاف إليه مسحوق نواة التمر المحمص .
كما وأن إحدى الشركات الأجنبية قد انتجت ما يسمى الآن ببديل القهوة بدون كافيين من نواة التمر ويستعمل بكثرة
التجارب أثبتت فائدتها لمرضى السكر والوقاية من «السرطان»
