فرنسا دفعت 17 مليونا لتحرير الرهائن و الأوروبيون دفعوا 89 مليون دولار لتنظيم ''القاعدة'' في الساحل
كشفت مسؤولة أمريكية أن الحكومة الفرنسية دفعت فدية مالية كبيرة لقاء الإفراج عن أربعة رهائن فرنسيين محتجزين لدى ''القاعدة'' في الساحل الصحراوي. وذكرت أن مسؤولين في الحكومة المالية توسطوا، قبل عامين، ونقلوا العمولة للتنظيم، لكن ''القاعدة'' خدعت الفرنسيين ولم تفرج عن الرهائن رغم تلقيها فدية قدرها17 مليون دولار.

أفادت السفيرة الأمريكية السابقة في مالي، فيكي هدلستون، بأن حكومة فرنسا دفعت 17 مليون دولار كفدية للإفراج عن مواطنيها الأربعة الذين تعرضوا للاختطاف في النيجر عام ,2010 وقد خطف الرهائن من منطقة تستثمرها شركة ''أريفا'' الفرنسية. وقالت السفيرة فيكي هدلستون، أمس الجمعة، إنه ''منذ نحو عامين إختطف تنظيم القاعدة ببلاد المغرب الإسلامي فرنسيين يعملون بمنجم لليورانيوم شمالي النيجر.. ولإطلاق سراحهم دفعت باريس فدية قدرها 17 مليون دولار''.
لكن هدلستون، التي شغلت سابقا منصب سفيرة بلادها في باماكو وعينت لاحقا مسؤولة عن الشؤون الإفريقية بوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، توضح أن التنظيم المسلح حصل على الفدية الفرنسية دون أن يفرج عن أربعة رهائن، واكتفى فقط بالإفراج عن رهينة واحدة وهي سيدة بدعوى إصابتها بمرض خطير، كما أفرج عن عامل من الطوغو، وآخر من مدغشقر، فيما ظل الأربعة الباقون محتجزين في منطقة مجهولة، يعتقد أنها في مالي وليس النيجر، رغم دفع الفدية.
إلا أن كلود غيان، الذي شغل منصب الأمين العام للرئاسة الفرنسية في تلك الفترة، نفى إدعاء هدلستون، وذكر أمس الجمعة قائلا: ''ليس لأن السفيرة السابقة الأمريكية صرحت بما ذكرته يعني ذلك أن كلامها يمثل الحقيقة''، ولفت يقول: ''أصر على أن الدولة الفرنسية لم تدفع أبدا أموالا من أجل الإفراج عن رهائن''، مضيفا: ''قد يحدث ذلك، فإيطاليا أعلنته صراحة، ولكني أعتقد أن ذلك يمثل استثناءات''.
بيد أن إتهامات هدلستون، سفيرة الولايات المتحدة لدى مالي سابقا، لم تخص فرنسا وحدها بخصوص دفع الفديات لتنظيم ''القاعدة ببلاد المغرب الإسلامي''، حيث تحدثت عن أموال طائلة دفعتها أوروبا لقاء الإفراج عن رعاياها: ''الأوروبيون دفعوا 89 مليون دولار ما بين 2004 و 2011'' وذكرت أن ''هذا هو الرقم الذي سمعت والذي رأيته مكتوبا بصورة واضحة''، وشرحت تقول: ''الفدية، مثل كل فدية قد دفعت بشكل غير مباشر إنتهت في يد الحكومة المالية، وبعد ذلك إلى جزء من السلفيين''. وتحدثت عن معرفة الجزائر لتفاصيل تلك الفديات: ''الجميع يعرف، ما يحدث عندما تم إطلاق سراح الرهائن، في وقت كانت تلك الحكومات تنكر دفع الفدية، والجميع يعلم أن المال ينتقل من يد إلى يد من خلال وسطاء وينتهي إلى التنظيم، ما سمح لهم بشراء الأسلحة وتجنيد المقاتلين''.
