[الشَّيخ سمير سمراد-حفظه الله-] : كان رجال الإمامين العظيمين ابن بادبس والإبراهيمي يؤمنون بالثَّورة ضدَّ الاستعمار ، ويعملون لها ، ويهيِّؤون أسبابها ويمهِّدون ، وقد فكَّروا فيها قبل وقوعها بعشرات السَّنين ، فوقفوا حياتهم على الإعداد لها ، وتربية الأفراد والجماعات والأمَّة جمعاء على ما يؤهِّل للعبء الخطير
وقد كان الإبراهيمي يقول عن تلك المدارس الَّتي كانت الأمَّة تشيِّدها وتؤسِّسها بمالها الخاصِّ تحت إشراف العلماء : " إنَّ هذه المؤسسات ستحتاج إليها الأمَّة في يوم من الأيَّام لمهمَّات فوق ما نتصوَّره الآن " ، يقول الأستاذ حمزة بوكوشة معلِّقًا – وهو راوي هذا الكلام - : " وفعلاً عندما قامت الثَّورة قامت هذه المؤسَّسات بدور هامٍّ ويشهد إخواننا الفدائيُّون بذلك ولا ينبِّئك مثل خبير " (1)
وقد تنبّأ بذلك علاَّمة الشَّام بهجت البيطار حين قال في سنة 1949م قبل قيام الثَّورة بنحو خمس سنوات : " أكان للنَّاس عجبًا أن يروا جمعيَّة العلماء الأبطال ، يتقدَّمون صفوف الرِّجال الأحرار ، مجاهدين في سبيل استرداد الحقِّ المغصوب ورفع شأن الوطن المحبوب " (2)

نعم ، لقد أدَّى العلماء ما عليهم ، وكانوا في طليعة المقاتلين ، قد احتضنوا الثَّورة وكانوا إزاءها كما قال فيهم مؤتمر الصُّومام " أمَّا العلماء فقد تقدَّموا بكلِّ شجاعة إلى الميدان من أوَّل لحظة " (3)
وكما كان طلبة "معهد ابن باديس" في الطَّليعة ، والتحقوا جميعهم بالثَّورة ، كان على خطاهم بقيَّة المدارس جمعيَّة العلماء ، ورجال الإصلاح في كلِّ مدينة وقرية

ومن أعظم الأمثلة على ذلك : مدرسة "القلعة" الَّتي كان على رأسها أوَّلاً الشَّيخ ابن عتيق وحلَّ محلَّه بعده الشَّيخ بلقاسم ، يحدِّثنا عنها وعن أهالي هذه القرية "أنصار الإصلاح" ، فيقول : " وممَّن شهد بفضلها الشَّهيد (إن شاء الله) [العقيد] (أ) عمِيرٌوش رحمه الله ، فقد بعض إليَّ برسالة إلى "البليدة" سنة 1955م ، جاء في هذه الرِّسالة التَّنويه بالعمل الَّذي قمت به (4) ، وبالرُّوح النِّضاليَّة الَّتي برزت بوضوح في أهل القلعة عمومًا وفي تلاميذة المدرسة خصوصًا ، وقد قال في رسالته : " جئت إلى القلعة فوجدت القوم على أتمِّ الاستعداد لخوض معركة التَّحرير والالتحاق بالمجاهدين وبذل المال والرِّجال يا ليتنا عملنا على نشر هذه المدارس في الوطن إذًا لاسترحنا من كثير من المشاكل الَّتي تعترض سبيلنا اليوم " (5)

أثناء قيام الثَّورة كان الشَّيخ بلقاسم في الجزائر العاصمة ، وقد قدم خدمات جليلة ، وأبلى بلاء حسنًا ، ممَّا عرَّضه لمخاطر كثيرة ، كادت تذهب بحياته ، وكان جنود الاستعمار يلاحقونه ، ويتابعونه ، وقد اختبأ ، وجعل يتنقَّل من مكان لآخر ، وقد حدَّثتني زوجه – أحسن الله ختامها- أنَّه كان يؤدِّي عمله صباحًا بالشَّبيبة ، ويذهب مساءً إلى الخيريَّة الإسلاميَّة (6)

[الشَّيخ سمير سمراد-حفظه الله-] : لا نعلم تفاصيل ما كان يقوم به الشَّيخ ، وقد دوَّن الكثيرون أعمالهم في الثَّورة وتكلَّموا عن مشاركاتهم ، غير أنَّ الشَّيخ بلقاسم الَّذي عمل العمل خالصًا – كما هو الظَّنُّ به – لأجل دينه ووطنه ، ووفاءً بالعهد الَّذي قطعه على نفسه ، وأمام شيخه الإمام ابن باديس ، أنَّه يعيش للإسلام وللدِّفاع عنه في الوطن المحبوب ، فلمَّا جاء أوان التَّضحية الكبرى ، لم يجبنْ ولم يتقهقر ، لم يكن الشَّيخ ليبرز نفسه ، فيقول : عملت كذا وكذا ، وكان من شأني كذا وكذا ، ونحسب أنَّ سكوته هذا ، من علامات إخلاصه وصدقه ، وأنَّه لا يريد جزاءً من أحد ولا شكورًا ، ولا يريد ثمنًا ولا مقابلاً ، عن أعمال يعدُّها من واجبات دينه ، ولا يرتضي شهادة من أحد ، ولا أن يعرف به أو ينوّه بشأنه ، ويكفيه أنَّ الله اطَّلع عليه وعرفه ، هذا موقف من مواقف تلك النُّفوس الَّتي ربَّاها الإمام الرَّباني ابن باديس ، وعلَّمها كيف تضحِّي في سبيل الإسلام في هذا الوطن حِينَ يَحِينُ وقت التَّضحية في سبيله
