كأس إنجلترا .. مطمع الأربعة الكبار لأسباب مختلفة

من المتوقع أن تشهد بطولة كأس الاتحاد الانجليزي الموسم الحالي تنافسا كبيرا قد يشتد عن المواسم السابقة لعدة أسباب خاصة بين الأربعة الكبار في بلاد مهد كرة القدم.

وبالرغم من عراقة البطولة التي تعد الأقدم في العالم في مجال كرة القدم، لكنها بدأت تفقد الاهتمام قليلا في المواسم الماضية مع تركيز معظم الفرق الكبرى على بطولتي الدوري الانجليزي الممتاز ودوري أبطال أوروبا.


ومع ذلك، قد تشكل بطولة كأس الاتحاد الانجليزي طوق نجاة أو نجاح مضاعف لأربعة أندية كبيرة لا زالت مستمرة في البطولة وهي مانشستر يونايتد ومانشستر سيتي وتشيلسي وارسنال.

ومن المتوقع أن يسعى كل فريق للمنافسة على لقب البطولة بشدة، ولدى كل فريق سببه ودافعه الخاص.


وإذا بدأنا بتشيلسي (حامل اللقب)، سنجد أن لديه العديد من الدوافع لتحفيزه للمنافسة على الكأس، أولها الحفاظ على لقبه وتفادي الخروج من الموسم دون تحقيق بطولة، وثانيها هو مداواة الجرح بعدما دخل التاريخ إثر خروجه من دور المجموعات ببطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا ليصبح أول بطل يودع المسابقة من الدور الأول، كما يأمل المدير الأسباني رافييل بنيتيز في قيادة البلوز للكأس لتعزيز موقفه في نهاية الموسم وإقناع مالك النادي رومان ابراموفيتش بالإبقاء عليه.


ولا تقل دوافع مانشستر سيتي عن تشيلسي، وذلك بعدما فقد سيرجيو أجويرو ورفاقه الأمل في الدفاع عن لقب الدوري الانجليزي الممتاز بعد تأخرهم عن مانشستر يونايتد بفارق 12 نقطة مع تبقي 12 مباراة فقط.

كما يأمل سيتي في استعادة اللقب الذي توج به في موسم 2010-2011 ليقتنص اللقب الثالث له في 3 سنوات وينقذ موسمه، ويضع روبرتو مانشيني الفوز بالكأس في اعتباره خاصة بعد فشله في الحلول ثالثا في دور المجموعات بدوري أبطال أوروبا واخفاقه في التحول للعب في الدوري الأوروبي.


في المقابل، يمتلك مانشستر يونايتد أسبابه القوية ودوافعه الإيجابية للمنافسة على الكأس، أولها هو ضمان تحقيق ثنائية لقب الدوري والكأس، التي قد تتحولة إلى ثلاثية في حال نجاحه في التقدم والفوز بدوري أبطال أوروبا.


واقترب يونايتد بشدة من استعادة لقب الدوري الانجليزي من غريمه مان سيتي، وسيسعى لتعزيز نجاحه الموسم الحالي ببطولة الكأس الغائبة عن خزائنه منذ 9 سنوات.


وأخيرا، قد ينظر فريق ارسنال إلى بطولة كأس الاتحاد الانجليزي على أنها بوابة العودة إلى تحقيق الألقاب من جديد. فالفريق اللندني لم يحقق أي بطولة بعد فوزه بالكأس على حساب مانشستر يونايتد في عام 2005.


ولم يتبق لأرسنال أي فرصة للفوز بلقب الموسم الحالي سوى في كأس انجلترا، في ظل خروجه من بطولة كأس رابطة المحترفين، واستحالة المنافسة على لقب الدوري الانجليزي، وصعوبة المنافسة بشدة على لقب دوري أبطال أوروبا في حالة نجاته من العملاق بايرن ميونخ في دور ال16.


وسيواجه تشيلسي (حامل اللقب)، فريق برينتفورد يوم الأحد على ملعب ستامفورد بريدج في دور ال32، بينما سيستضيف فريق مانشستر سيتي فريق ليدز يونايتد على ملعب الاتحاد في اليوم ذاته ولكن ضمن منافسات دور ال16 الذي يشهد أيضا مواجهة ستجمع بين ارسنال وبلاكبيرن على ملعب الإمارات يوم السبت، ومباراة أخرى بين مانشستر يونايتد وريدينج يوم الاثين.
