نيازك تنفجر في أجواء روسيا وتخلّف حوالي 1000 جريح
أدت زخة نيازك إنهمرت فوق تشيليابينسك بمنطقة الأورال بروسيا، مصحوبة بانفجارات نتيجة تفتت نيزك فوق المنطقة، إلى وقوع حوالي 1000 جريح، منهم بعض الإصابات الخطرة. وأصيب غالبية الجرحى بشظايا الزجاج .

وصرح حاكم منطقة تشيليابينسك، ميخائيل يوريفيتش أن "عدد الجرحى بلغ حوالي 950" فيما كانت حصيلة سابقة تشير إلى إصابة أكثر من 500 جريح في المنطقة وعلى الأخص بشظايا زجاج بعد تحطم النوافذ بسبب قوة الصدمة.

وذكرت وكالة الطيران والفضاء الأمريكية "ناسا" أن النيزك الذي سقط على وسط روسيا ليس له صلة بكويكب كان يمر بالقرب من الأرض أمس الجمعة.

وقالت ناسا: "بحسب علماء ناسا فإن مسار النيزك الروسي مختلف تماماً عن مسار الكويكب 2012 دي ايه 14، ما يجعلهما أمران غير مرتبطين البتة".

وأضافت أنه يتم تحليل النيزك، الذي كان يتحرك من الشمال الى الجنوب، بينما كان الكويكب يتحرك في المسار المعاكس من الجنوب إلى الشمال.

وكان المكتب المحلي لوزارة الأوضاع الطارئة أفاد في بيان سابق بأن "نيزكاً تفتّت فوق الأورال، واحترق جزئياً في الطبقات السفلى من الغلاف الجوي، ووصلت أجزاء منه إلى الأرض، حيث سقطت في مناطق فيها القليل من السكان في تشيليابينسك".

وتابعت الوزارة أن "المعلومات الأولية تفيد بإصابة بعض الأشخاص بشظايا زجاج" بعدما أدى عصف الصدمة إلى تحطيم نوافذ العديد من المباني.

وذكر شهود سماع عدة انفجارات عنيفة بثت الذعر بين سكان المنطقة.

وظهرت كرة مشتعلة تتحرك بسرعة قصوى، ويصاحبها ضوء أبيض ساطع في سماء تشيليابنسك، التي يزيد عدد سكانها على المليون نسمة.

وقال الخبير الروسي، سيرغي سميرنوف ، إن النيزك الذي تفتت على ما يبدو على علو خمسة آلاف متر فوق الأورال كان وزنه "عشرات الأطنان".

وأشار التلفزيون الرسمي إلى أن النيزك كان يتحرك من شمال الشرق نحو جنوب الشرق.

وأظهرت لقطات تلفزيونية مبنى تابعاً لمصنع في المدينة وقد دمر جزئياً، وجداراً وسطح منزل منهارين. وبدت أعداد من من الشبان الملطخين بالدماء من جراء الإصابة بشظايا الزجاج.

وقال مراسل قناة تلفزيونية: "كنت في المنزل، ورأيت شهباً من الضوء، فهرعت إلى الشرفة وكان هناك خط شبيه بالخط الذي تخلفه الطائرات لكنه أكبر بكثير. وكان انطباعي الأول أن طائرة تحطمت".

وأظهرت تسجيلات فيديو، قام سكان بتحميلها على الإنترنت، كتلاً نارية تعبر السماء على علو منخفض.

وأعلنت وزارة الأحوال الطارئة تعبئة 20 ألف عنصر وضعوا في حالة تأهب، إضافة إلى ثلاث طائرات أو مروحيات لمعاينة الأماكن.

وأغلقت المدارس في كافة أنحاء المنطقة بينما كانت درجة الحرارة 18 درجة تحت الصفر أمس الجمعة في الأورال.

وقال ممثل للوكالة الروسية للطاقة الذرية "روساتوم" إن المنشآت النووية في المنطقة لم تتعرض لأضرار.

وأكدت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أنها لاحظت "سقوط جسم لم تحدد ماهيته (يرجح أنه نيزك) في الغلاف الجوي ورافقته إنفجارات ووميض برق".

ولوحظت هذه الظاهرة أيضاً في مناطق عدة مجاورة من كازاخستان.
