اليونيسكو تمنح الرئيس الفرنسي جائزة سلام
قررت منظمة اليونسكو الدولية منح الرئيس الفرنسي فرنسوا هولاند الجائزة الدولية "فيليكس هوفوي – بواني". وأفاد مصدر بأمانة منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلوم والثقافة ، بأن أعضاء اللجنة التنفيذية أشادوا بمساهمة الزعيم الفرنسي في تعزيز السلام والإستقرار في إفريقيا. وأعلن رئيس اللجنة جواكيم البرتو شيسانو الرئيس الموزمبيقي السابق أن لجنة التحكيم إتخذت هذا القرار بعد دراسة الوضع في العالم والقارة الإفريقية التي تواجه مشاكل كثيرة. وقال: "بعد دراسة التحديات والعواقب الناجمة عن الوضع في إفريقيا ومالي قيمت لجنة التحكيم عاليا التضامن الذي أبدته فرنسا إزاء الشعوب الإفريقية". يذكر أن جائزة الرئيس الأول لكوت ديفوار فيليكس هوفوي- بواني أستحدثت عام 1989، وتمنح كل عام من قبل منظمة اليونسكو الدولية للمسؤولون والمنظمات والمؤسسات لقاء المساهمة في البحوث والدراسات وحفظ السلام ما يتفق مع روح ميثاقي الأمم المتحدة واليونسكو. وحاز كل من نيلسون مانديلا وياسر عرفات وإسحاق رابين وشيمون بيريز والملك الإسباني خوان كارلوس والرئيس الأمريكي السابق جيمي كارتر على هذه الجائزة. ويمنح الحائزين على الجائزة مبلغا قدره 150 ألف دولار بالإضافة إلى ميدالية ذهبية وشهادة تقديرية.
