أمـوت بـالـحـزن ثـم أرحـل نـحـو عـالـم الـصـمـت الـمـسـكـيـن لـكـي أسـتـريـح

مـن عـنـاء الـكـلام الـحـارق الـذي تـكـسـر فـي داخـلـي .

وأحـيـانـاً أشـرب الـصـمـت بـرغـبـة الـعـطـشـان لأبـحـر فـي أعـمـاقـي

لـيـخـرج مـنـهـا كـل أرق مـؤلـم وأحـزانٌ دفـيـنـة يـخـلـق جـفـاءا فـي نـفـسـي

ويـكـسـو سـمـائـي بـغـيـوم الـشـجـن ....

سـوف أكـتـفـي بـالـصـمـت وأرفـع رأسـي عـالـيـاً وأجـلـس عـلى قـمـم الـنـسـور

لأسـتـنـشـق رائـحـة الـكـرامـة وأعـلـن رفـض الـشـكـوى لـكـل البـشـر .

قـد تـفـقـد الـخـواطـر كـل حـنـان وأمـان ، وقـد تـتـنـازل الـشـجـرة عـن أوراقـهـا

ولـكـن يـبـقـى الـصـمـت هـو سـجـل الـكـبـار ومـيـزة الـعـقـلاء ومـنـطـق الـحـكـمـاء .

الـصـمـت لـغـة نـادرة .. وعـمـلـة مـن الـصـعـب الـتـداول بـهـا فـي الـمـجـتـمـع

ولـهـجـة مـن الـنـادر أن يـتـحـدث فـيـهـا كـل مـن أراد الـكـلام .

غـريـب أنـت أيـهـا الـصـمـت حـيـنـمـا تـأتـي إلـيـنـا مـرة نـتـلـذذ بـمـذاقـك

وأحـيـانـاً نـشـعـر مـنـك بـألأسـر فـتـكـون عـذاب الـجـهـلاء وإحـتـقـار الـمـسـيـئـيـن
