أنباء عن دعم المعارضة السورية بأسلحة ثقيلة
كشف مسؤولون في المعارضة السورية، اليوم الأحد، أن التقدم الأخير الذي حققته المعارضة المسلحة في عدة مناطق في سوريا يعود إلى تدفق أسلحة ثقيلة من الخارج.

وذكرت صحيفة واشنطن بوست أن تدفق الأسلحة يأتي في سياق محاولة من بعض الدول الغربية لتسليح من وصفته بـ"المعتدلين داخل الجيش السوري الحر" ولكبح النفوذ الكبير للجماعات المتطرفة في شمال سوريا.

وتشمل الأسلحة الجديدة التي تسلمتها المعارضة السورية المسلحة دروعا مضادة للدبابات وبنادق آلية، وقد تم إرسالها عبر الحدود الأردنية إلى منطقة درعا في الأسابيع الماضية.

وفي حال صحت هذه التقارير، فإنها ستكون المرة الأولى منذ اندلاع الحرب في سوريا التي يتم فيها إرسال أسلحة ثقيلة بهذا الشكل من طرف قوى خارجية للمعارضة المسلحة.

وفي حين رفضت المصادر الكشف عن الدول التي قامت بتقديم هذه الأسلحة، أشارت إلى أن هذه الدول كانت قد دقت ناقوس الخطر بشأن التأثير الكبير الذي بات تمتع به "جماعات متشددة".

وأشارت الواشنطن بوست إلى أن الولايات المتحدة تأتي في مقدمة البلدان التي عبرت عن قلقها إزاء تعاظم نفوذ المتشددين في سوريا بالإضافة إلى عدد من الحلفاء الأوروبيين و تركيا وأيضا السعودية وقطر.

ورفض مسؤولون أميركيون التعليق على هذه المعلومات، لكن صحفية الواشنطن بوست أشارت إلى أن إدارة الرئيس الأميركي، باراك أوباما، التي طالما عارضت تسليح المعارضة السورية، تساهم في تقديم المساعدات الاستخباراتية للجهات الخارجية التي ترسل أسلحة ثقيلة للمعارضة السورية، وتحديد الوجهة التي يجب أن تسلم إليها.
