يحكى ان
كان هناك رجل فقير يعيش في مكة
رجل فقير متزوج من امرأة صالحة.
قالت له زوجته ذات يوم: يا زوجي العزيز
ليس عندنا طعام نأكله ولا ملبس نلبسه؟ فخرج
الرجل إلى السوق يبحث عن عمل، بحث وبحث
ولكنه لم يجد أي عمل، وبعد أن أعياه البحث،
توجه إلى بيت الله الحرام، وصلى
هناك ركعتين وأخذ يدعو الله أن يفرج عنه همه.
وما أن انتهى من الدعاء وخرج إلى ساحة الحرم
وجد كيساً، التقطه وفتحه، فإذا فيه ألف دينار.
ذهب الرجل إلى زوجته يفرحها بالمال الذي وجده
لكن زوجته ردت المال وقالت له: لابد أن ترد هذا المال إلى صاحبه فإن الحرم لا يجوز التقاط لقطته، وبالفعل ذهب إلى الحرم
ووجد رجل ينادي: من وجد كيساً فيه ألف دينار؟
فرح الرجل الفقير، وقال: أنا وجدته، خذ كيسك
فقد وجدته في ساحة الحرم،
وكان جزاؤه أن نظر المنادي إلى الرجل الفقير طويلاً
ثم قال له: خذ الكيس فهو لك،
ومعه تسعة آلاف أخرى، استغرب الرجل الفقير،
وقال له: ولما، قال المنادي: لقد أعطاني رجل من بلاد الشام عشرة آلاف دينار، وقال لي: اطرح منها آلف في الحرم، ثم ناد عليها، فإن ردها إليك من وجدها فأدفع المال كله إليه فإنه أمين

قال الله تعالى: “ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجاً
ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب”.
