الأسلحة الكرواتية تصل للثوار السوريين عن طريق لبنان
أكدت مصادر في واشنطن، قريبة من المعارضة السورية والجيش السوري الحر، أن كميات من الصواريخ المضادة للدروع وغيرها من الأسلحة الدفاعية وصلت إلى الجيش السوري الحر عن طريق لبنان، وقد سهّل مناصرو الثوار السوريين وصول هذه الأسلحة من طرق عدّة مفتوحة مع الأراضي السورية.

ومن الواضح أن مصدر الأسلحة هو كرواتيا، ومصدر تمويل الصفقة ليس دولاً غربية، بل دول تدعم تغيير النظام السوري ولديها المال والرغبة في دعم الثوار. أما طريق لبنان فهو طريق طبيعي، خصوصاً أن عملية الشحن من الدولة اليوغسلافية السابقة إلى لبنان مفتوحة، كما أن طرق تهريب السلاح بين لبنان وسوريا مفتوحة أيضاً، ولم يستطع النظام السوري أن يوقفه، كما أن النظام السوري يستفيد هو الآخر من تهريب حزب الله لعناصره وسلاحه دعماً للنظام السوري.

لا ينفي هذا أن أسلحة وصلت إلى الثوار السوريين من طرق أخرى، مثل الأردن وتركيا، خلال الشهرين الماضيين، لكن تركيا والأردن يتابعان إلى حد كبير ضبط حدودهما مع سوريا ويحاولان منع تدفق السلاح إلى الداخل بقدر المستطاع، فتركيا تخاف من تأثير الثورة السورية عليها، والأردن يريد التوقف عند حدود ولا يريد أن يبدو كأنه ساهم علانية في إزاحة النظام.

المهم جداً بالنسبة لتمرير الصفقة عن طريق لبنان أن الأمريكيين لم يتعاملوا مع هذه الصفقة من الأسلحة مثلما فعلوا من قبل بصفقة صواريخ ستينغر منذ أشهر، ففي شهر جويلية الماضي، سارع الأمريكيون لإيقاف شحنة من 14 صاروخ ستينغر عندما علموا أنها وصلت إلى منطقة لواء الاسكندرون وتمكّن ضباط من وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية ومن الجيش التركي من وقف تسليم هذه الصواريخ المحمولة المضادة للطائرات، ومنعوا إيصالها إلى الثوار السوريين بحجة أنهم لا يريدونها أن تقع بأيدي متطرفين مثل جبهة النصرة، وادعت أمريكا أنها لا تعلم أين ستصل الشحنة بعد سوريا لو لم يتم استعمالها ضد الطيران السوري.

وتؤكد مصادر المعارضة السورية وداعمو الجيش السوري الحر في واشنطن، أن الولايات المتحدة عرفت بشحنة الأسلحة اليوغسلافية إلى الثورة السورية "عن طريق شخص على مسافة ثلاثة مستويات بعيداً من مسؤول أمريكي"، في إشارة إلى أن أي مسؤول أمريكي لم يكن على علم مباشر بالصفقة، كما لم تقم الإدارة الأمريكية بأي عرقلة للصفقة بل تركتها تمر.

هناك أكثر من سبب لتغيير الإدارة الأمريكية لـ"سياستها" أو لتصرّفها، فهناك الكثير من الضغوط الأوروبية على إدارة باراك أوباما لتحويل الدعم إلى الثورة السورية من المساعدة الإنسانية إلى التسليح، وتبيّن خلال الأشهر الماضية أن مسؤولين كباراً مثل وزير الدفاع ليون بانيتا ورئيس هيئة الأركان المشتركة الجنرال ديمبسي ووزيرة الخارجية السابقة هيلاري كلينتون أيّدوا تسليح المعارضة السورية، لكن البيت الأبيض تمسّك بمعارضته لهذا التسليح.

هذه المرة، لم يتمسّك البيت الأبيض بهذه المعارضة وسمح عملياً بوصول أسلحة دفاعية مهمة للجيش السوري الحر، وهذا إنجاز في طريق طويل وصعب، فهذه الأسلحة ما زالت أسلحة دفاعية وغير هجومية وتستطيع حماية بعض المواقع التابعة للثوار عندما يقع الهجوم، لكنها لا تمنع النظام من شنّ الهجوم ولا تعطي الجيش الحر اليد العليا في إستباق هجوم يعدّ النظام السوري لشنّه على مواقع تابعة للثوار أو على أحياء سكنية، حيث يتسبب بآلاف القتلى.

تعتبر مصادر المعارضة والجيش الحر في واشنطن أن الإدارة الأمريكية تقف في مرحلة تغيير في مواقفها لجهة موضوع الأسلحة والطريق ما زال طويلاً لإقناعها بالكثير.
