العروس دانا جاكسون وعريسها بيل ستاوس

عاشت دانا جاكسون في السادس من فبراير مناسبتين كبيرتين في
يوم واحد: احتفالها بزواجها واحتفالها بعيد ميلادها المائة، وبذلك أصبحت
أكبر عروس في العالم حسب «غينيس».
وقالت العروس وهي تقطع كعكة الزفاف في احتفال أقيم في دار لرعاية المسنين
حيث تقيم منذ سنوات، إنها تشعر بأنها لا تزال في الخمسين
، أما العريس بيل ستاوس (85 عاماً) وهو أيضاً من نزلاء دار الرعاية ذاتها
، فقال وهو يمسح دموع الفرح إنه يشعر بسعادة بالغة لم يعرفها منذ وفاة
زوجته قبل ستة وخمسين عاماً. ولم ينس العريس الإشادة بجمال عروسه
ففي عينيها سحر لا يقاوم، كما قال وابتسامته العريضة تغطي وجهه.
وكان الاثنان طوال الحفل يجلسان على كرسيين متحركين.
