ناشد المدعو جمال كروش، من قصر البخاري جنوب المدية أصحاب القلوب الرحيمة وذوي البر والإحسان، مساعدته لتوفير المبلغ اللازم لنقل إبنه صابر نصر الدين، أو الطفل الساجد، للعلاج بالمستشفى القومي الفرنسي "سان موريس"، أين يكون قد أبدى أطباء هذا المستشفى مباشرة علاجه، مقدرين نسبة نجاح ذلك بأكثر من 70 بالمائة، بعد ما ضاقت به السبل وصال وجال في مستشفيات الوطن، وكذا العيادات الخآصة وبذل المال الكثير طيلة الست سنوات التي يبلغها صابر دونما نتيجة تذكر.
وذلك بعد أن تبين أن صابر يعاني من تشنج عصبي عقب ولادته مباشرة ما جعل رجليه تنكمشان، كما تسبب هذا التشنج في عدم قدرته على الكلام رغم أنه يسمع، هذا وقد لاحظ والداه ردود فعل غريبة من ابنهما، حيث ورغم إمكانية نومه على أحد جنبيه الأيمن أو الأيسر، وهي الوضعية التي يتركه عليها والداه، إلا أن صابر وبتلقائية وبعد وقت قصير يأخذ وضعية السجود وهي الوضعية التي يجد فيها راحته أثناء نومه، ومن بين غرائب الأمور التي لوحظت على صابر، هو شد القرآن الكريم، وكذا الآذان سمعه بشكل يجعله يحتج على والديه بالبكاء في حال تعمدهما إيقافه لملاحظة ردة فعله، كما يعتبر التمر والحليب أكلتاه المفضلتان، ورغم كون صابر لا يتكلم إلا أنه يتصرف بذكاء لا يعكس ما يعانيه من إعاقة، ويبقى أمل والديه لاسيما الأب جمال كبيرا في رؤية فلذة كبدهما يمشي كغيره ويتكلم، حيث لم يتوان في تأكيده عزمه على بيع إحدى كليتيه نظير شفاء صابر، بنبرة تحمل كبير معاناته وتعبه وبذله الوقت والمال دونما فائدة، فهل ستجد مناشدة الأب وإعاقة الإبن الساجد آذانا صاغية، وقلوبا رحيمة؟
