مقتل ثالث جندي فرنسي منذ بدء العملية العسكرية في شمال مالي
قتل جندي فرنسي في معركة أمس السبت في شمال مالي، ما يرفع إلى ثلاثة عدد العسكريين الفرنسيين الذين قتلوا منذ بدء الهجوم ضد المجموعات المسلحة في هذا البلد في 11 جانفي.

وقالت الرئاسة الفرنسية في بيان أن "رئيس الجمهورية تبلغ باسى كبير مقتل جندي في شمال مالي في معركة مساء السبت" وهو ينتمي إلى كتيبة المظليين. وأضاف البيان أن "رئيس الدولة يعرب عن إحترامه العميق للتضحية التي قدمها هذا الجندي الشاب".

وبحسب هيئة أركان الجيوش الفرنسية، فإنه تم "القضاء" على "ما لا يقل عن نحو خمسة عشر" مقاتلا إسلاميا خلال العمليات التي أودت بحياة الجندي الفرنسي.

وأشاد الرئيس فرنسوا هولاند بـ"شجاعة وحماسة القوات الفرنسية المشاركة في القتال ضد المجموعات المسلحة لاستعادة سيادة مالي الكاملة إلى جانب القوات المسلحة المالية والقوات الإفريقية".

وقتل الجندي الفرنسي الأول، وهو قائد مروحية، في منطقة سيفاريه (شمال) منذ الساعات الأولى للتدخل الفرنسي ضد المجموعات المسلحة التي كانت تحتل شمال مالي وتعد هجوما باتجاه الجنوب.

وقتل مظلي آخر في 19 فيفري في اشتباك في شمال البلاد.

وقالت هيئة الأركان أن المظلي قتل أمس السبت أثناء عملية للقوات الفرنسية ضد "المجموعات الإرهابية" في منطقة جبال ايفوقاس وهي منطقة جبلية قريبة من الحدود الجزائرية حيث إنكفأت المجموعات الإسلامية.

وأوضح الكولونيل تييري بوركارد أن "المظليين بدأوا المعركة مرارا مع العناصر الإرهابية" طيلة النهار. وقتل الجندي مساء السبت "وهو يتوجه إلى مهاجمة موقع معاد" على بعد نحو خمسين كلم جنوب تيساليت.
