Pourquoi lire le Coran, alors qu'il nous arrive parfois d'ignorer le sens des versets

Un vieil homme musulman, vivait dans une ferme dans les montagnes de "Easter Kentucky" avec son petit fils. Chaque matin, le grand père se réveillait tôt pour lire son Coran.

Le petit fils voulait être comme son grand père, et essaya de l'imiter dans tous ses gestes. Un jour, son petit fils lui demanda : "Grand père! J'ai essayé de lire le Coran comme toi, mais je n'arrive pas à comprendre le sens des versets, et lorsque je comprends parfois, j'oublie aussitôt que je ferme le livre. Qu'est ce qu'on retire de bien lorsque nous lisons le Coran

Le grand père silencieusement s'arrêta de mettre du charbon dans la corbeille et demanda à son petit fils : "Prend cette corbeille jusqu'à la rivière et ramène là moi remplie d'eau".

Le garçon fit comme son grand père lui demanda, mais la corbeille se vidait d'eau avant qu'il ne revienne à la maison.
Le grand père rit et dit .. " Tu devrais être plus rapide la prochaine fois", et il renvoya son petit fils avec la corbeille pour essayer une deuxième fois. Cette fois-ci le jeune garçon courra, mais la corbeille se vida encore avant de retourner à la maison

Essoufflé, il dit à son grand père qu'il était impossible de ramener de l'eau dans une corbeille, et qu'il allait prendre un seau à sa place. Le grand papa lui dit : " Je ne veux pas de l'eau dans un seau, mais dans une corbeille, c'est juste qu'il faut ressayer encore", et il parti retenter sa chance.

Le jeune garçon plongea encore la corbeille dans la rivière, couru, mais quand il arriva à la maison, la corbeille était encore vide. Essoufflé il dit à son grand père : " t'as vu grand père, c'est inutile!"
Le vieil homme, regarda son petit fils et lui dit : " Regardes la corbeille".. Le jeune garçon regarda la corbeille et pour la première fois réalisa qu'elle était différente. Elle a été transformée d'une corbeille sale à une corbeille propre.

"Mon fils, c'est la même chose quand tu lis le Coran. Il se peut que tu ne comprennes pas ou que tu ne te rappelles pas de tout, mais quand tu lis le Coran, c'est ton âme qui change."
