لم يكن لأجيال ما قبل انتشار التعليم و ظهور ما نحن عليه اليوم من تكنولوجيات توجههم و تهذب سلوكهم و تكبح جماح شقاوة وعنفوان فضولهم ، غير الأمهات و الجدات الغارقات في بحر الامية و مصاعب الحياة .
أمهات وجدات ضربن بمقولة -فاقد الشيء لا يعطيه - بعرض الحائط و رحن يفتشن عن أساليب و مناهج تربوية تمكنهن من أداء رسالتهن .
و بالرغم من أنه لم يكن لديهن من الزاد غير محض خيال و بعض حيلة تفوق مدارك العيال إلا أنهن تمكن من خلق منهج تهذيبي غاية في الفعالية والتأثير .
ومن هذه الأساليب التي رسخت في الذاكرة الشعبية وما يزال لها حيزا في الواقع ، أذكر:

* التحذير من اللعب النار .
إن ضرورة استخدام النار في صورتها الاعتيادية ثم الخوف من خطرها على الأبناء و مكونات المحيط ذات القابلية للاشتعال و نظرا لصعوبة إقناع الأبناء بمخاطر اللعب بها و استحالة السيطرة على تصرفاتهم و مراقبة تحركاتهم تحتم على الأمهات و الجدات استغلال سذاجة الأطفال و ضعف مداركهم ليفشين بينهم، أن اللعب بالنار يورث التبول في الفراش أثناء النوم .
و باجتماع سذاجة الطفل و ثقته في جدية التحذير و طبيعة التحدي لديه ورهبة النتائج ، تتشكل لديه الهواجس والكوابيس فتنطلي الحيلة و يتحقق الخيال و ترسخ لديه القناعة بأن اللعب بالنار يورث التبول ليلا حقا .
و بما أنه لا يرضى بأي حال من الأحوال أن يكون مثار سخرية و تندر بين أقرانه، بوصفهم له بـ ( البوّال ) فما عليه إلا الكف عن اللعب بالنار .
أما عن امرأة القمر المعلقة من ( شفار عينيها ) و قصتها مع رغيف الخبز و حال آكل باكورة التمر مع الحمى و علاقة الصرع بتناول مخ ( البوزالوف ) فأترك طرحها للإخوة الأعضاء .

كانت جدتي تقص علينا قصصا مرعبة عن الغول يستحيل بعدها الخروج إلى الفناء ليلا
و عند النوم..تنادينا أغمضوا أعينكم ..من سيفتح عينيه يأتيه طير الصرندي.
بعد سماع هذه الكلمة...إغماض العينين يكون تلقائي
كنت أتخيل هذا الطائر مراقبا لنا في أحد أركان البيت.
رحم الله جدتي و أسكنها فسيح جناته
جدتي ألهمتني أن لا أحكي لأولادي سوى القصص الجميلة ذات النهايات السعيدة
و فعلا نشأ الأولاد و لا خوف يساورهم ليلا.
