أمير قطر يشتري 6 جزر يونانية لبناء القصور لعائلته
كشفت صحيفة (الغارديان) البريطانية اليوم الثلاثاء، أن أمير قطر حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، اشترى ست جزر يونانية على البحر الأيوني بقيمة 8.5 ملايين يورو، أي ما يعادل 7.35 ملايين جنيه استرليني.

وقالت الصحيفة إن عملية الشراء قوبلت بالغبطة في اليونان، أكثر دولة مفلسة في الغرب، وفي الدوحة حيث خاضت الأسرة الحاكمة مفاوضات طاحنة امتدت زهاء 18 شهراً لامتلاك الجزر اليونانية الستة جراء روتين المعاملات في الدوائر الحكومية.

وأضافت أن الجزر إستهوت أمير قطر حين رسا يخته الفخم في المياه الفيروزية في بلدة إيثاكا القريبة من الجزر المعروفة باسم (اكينيدس) للإستفسار عن الجزر.

ونسبت الصحيفة إلى رئيس بلدية إيثاكا، إيوانيس كاسيانوس، قوله إن أمير قطر البالغ من العمر 56 عاماً "لا يخطط لإقامة منتجعات سياحية في الجزر ويريد بناء قصور للمتعة الحصرية لعائلته وأولاده البالغ عددهم 24 فرداً، ويعمل مهندسون معماريون حالياً لوضع المخططات للقصور".

وأشارت إلى أن هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يبدي فيها أمير قطر إهتماماً باليونان، وكانت حكومته تعهدت قبل 3 سنوات أثناء إندلاع الأزمة الإقتصادية فيها، باستثمار 5 مليارات يورو في مجال العقارات والسياحة والنقل والبنية التحتية، بما في ذلك الموانئ والمطارات، لكنها سحبت عروضها الإستثمارية بسبب البيروقراطية اليونانية.

وقالت الغارديان إن أمير قطر يخطط لزيارة الجزر اليونانية صيف العام الحالي بيخته الفخم.

وكانت تقارير صحافية ذكرت العام الماضي، أن أمير قطر جدد عقاراً في لندن صار الأغلى من نوعه في بريطانيا وتصل قيمته الآن إلى 200 مليون جنيه استرليني، أي ما يعادل 316 مليون دولار.

وقالت إن أمير قطر انفق عشرات الملايين من الجنيهات الإسترلينية على العقار المترامي الأطراف المسمى (دادلي هاوس) في حي بارك لين وسط لندن، والذي يحتوي الآن على 17 غرفة نوم، منذ أن إشتراه بقيمة 37.4 مليون جنيه استرليني عام 2006.
