معركة الحسم في دمشق في الصيف المقبل
نقلت صحيفة “واشنطن بوست” عن مصادر في المعارضة السورية أن المعركة الحاسمة من أجل دمشق قريبة جدا. وتوقعت نفس المصادر أن يحسم الصراع الدائر منذ مارس عام 2011 في الصيف القادم. وجاء ذلك في مقال كتبه دافيد اغناطيوس المحلل الأمريكي البارز بعد زيارته لتركيا، حيث أجرى سلسلة لقاءات مع قياديين في المعارضة السورية. وأشار المقال الذي نشرته صحيفة “واشنطن بوست” أمس الأربعاء إلى أن الصراع السوري أمام انعدام “معجزة دبلوماسية”، سيؤدي، كما يبدو، إلى انتشار الفوضى ومزيد من سفك الدماء. وذكر كاتب المقال أن الجيش السوري الحر وضع “خطة للمعركة” توضح ما هي جماعات المعارضة المسلحة الرئيسية والأيديولوجية التي تتبعها ومصادر تمويلها. وتابع أن المعارضة سلمت هذه الوثيقة الأسبوع الماضي لوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية. وتشير هذه الوثيقة، حسب المقال، إلى أن أكبر جماعة معارضة في سورية هي “جبهة تحرير سوريا الإسلامية” التي يبلغ عدد أفرادها نحو 37 ألف شخص وتتكون من أربعة تشكيلات تنشط في مختلف أجزاء البلاد. وأشار كاتب المقال إلى أن عناصر هذه الجماعة التي تعتمد على الدعم السعودي، ليسوا إسلاميين متشددين، لكنهم يمسكون بالحل العسكري للصراع السوري. وتابع المقال أن ثاني أكبر جماعة وهي “الجبهة الإسلامية لتحرير سوريا” تعتبر أكثر تشددا من الجماعة الأولى ويقودها سلفيون. وتقول مصادر معارضة إن الجماعة تتألف من 11 كتيبة تنشط في أنحاء البلاد بتمويل من أغنياء في السعودية والكويت ودول الخليج الأولى. ووفق تقييمات هذه المصادر، فإن عدد أفراد هذه الجماعة يبلغ نحو 13 ألف مقاتل سلفي. الجماعة الثالثة تطلق على نفسها تسمية “أنصار الإسلام” وهي ممولة من قبل قطر وتضم نحو 15 ألف مقاتل. أما الجماعة الأكثر خطورة فهي “جبهة النصرة” التي تعتبر فرعا للقاعدة في العراق. وحسب تقييم أحد المعارضين، فإنها تضم نحو 6 آلاف مقاتل. وأشارت المصادر المعارضة إلى أن الجيش السوري الحر بقيادة الجنرال سليم إدريس يضم أيضا نحو 50 ألف شخص آخر يقاتلون خارج الجماعات المذكورة. وحذر كاتب المقال من أن تأثير الولايات المتحدة على التطورات في سوريا سيكون قليلا للغاية في حال انفجار الوضع في البلاد.
